18 months and still working
Installed this into my 3M filtrate personal air purifier. It has been working for 18+ months. Monthly, I take a Q-tip and wipe one end of the ion, with the other end of the Q-tip to wipe the other end of the iron output. I have an ion meter, and I test it every 6-9 months, so that I know it is working. It takes away smells and makes the filter more efficient, by making the particles larger and they get stuck inside the filter. Itโs amazing with a Vietnamese wife with super pungent foods!!! The orders are gone in hours, not days, as before.

It works
Using this to ionize particles in the air and it seems to work decently well

A little indoor air quality better than none.
I purchased the shopcorp 110-120vac negative/positive ion generator because of price and for what it is supposed to do. So I hard wired this Unit inside my hvac unit and fixed the wire leads close to the indoor blower. I did this so the ions generated are pulled in and spread through out my home. The unit seems to be working. Once I had it hooked up I could feel the energy flowing between the two ion generator leads. I mounted these leads about 3inches apart. Unit has been installed for a month or more now and feel like it maybe doing a little something for indoor air quality.

110v version doesn't work
In the absence of obvious ionization, I decided to place a meter across the outlet and I read 14v.The 12v version works better and produces obvious ionization.

Sparky but effective
Seems to work as advertised. One selling pint for me was that I found spec sheet from source supplier that certifies near-zero ozone production to an EU standard. That makes it much safer than other โionizersโ. I bought a small PC fan for circulation and only issue was if I had the leads too close to the grill on they fan they would spark.

It's working
I mounted two in a small coaxial fan and I can smell a faint odor of ozone. My non contact voltage detector goes crazy when I get closer than 10 inches. I placed it next to a sink full of dirty dishes that was starting to smell, I went to work and when I returned the sink was almost odorless
