Liked everything about this item. It is heavy and feels as though it will be very secure. Once the hole has been cut (which didn't take long with the aid of watching a Youtube video) the safe slotted into place effortlessly. Would recommend.

Even though it has 3 shelves, you can only realistically use the top and bottom one, as the lock takes up most of the space on the middle shelf

This safe is for US stud walls. The actual safe is 360mm so does not fit between 400mm centre line 75x50 UK stud wall, basically you will need cut 10mm from your stud. Not a a quick or easy fit. The middle shelf is taken up a lot by the lock mechanism when the door is shut. This is wasted space. The wall safe is a brilliant idea, but does not easily fit in the UK and doesn’t have a lot of usable internal space given its large external dimensions.

This is my second wall safe and I'm very happy with this one after making some adjustments. Comparing to the Stack-On PWS 15522, this one is cheaper but may be a bit more solid. It uses 6 bolts into the studs instead of 4. However, the Stack-On allowed me to turn off the button beeping without modifying it. I also found the Stack-On to have sturdier shelves. As for the Paragon 7725, the first thing to note is after unboxing, I tried the key with the safe flat on my table, the safe door facing up. The key didn't work until it was tipped upright. I almost thought I had a problem since I had read a review about the key not working. Installation was as expected. It fit easily between the studs which were just slightly wider than the safe width. I added a piece of 2x4 at the bottom to help with installation. I use a Kreg Mini Jig Pocket Hole Kit to attach to the studs on either side. The door had a little play to it which I found irritating when hitting the keypad if I didn't hold the door closed so I added a piece of 1/4" weather stripping to the inside of the door jamb, lengthwise. (photo attached) As many have noted, the beeping is too loud for my purposes. I didn't want to use a solder gun on the circuit board. Instead, I removed the cover to the circuit board and used a small screwdriver to carefully pop off the cover to the speaker (photo attached). Under the cap was a small metal piece which amplified the beep. With that removed, it made a very muted, barely audible beep when pushing the keypad buttons. This was perfect for me, although I realized I was proceeding at my own risk. Please proceed at your own risk if you attempt the same. Overall, great product for protecting a few small items out of sight.

This is a great wall safe. I bought it to store some of my handguns, and they both fit nicely. I receive the exact model pictured here, not sure how one review received the wrong one. Installation: When you open the box you will need to rip the plastic bag containing the manual key and instructions so you can use this key to open the door. There is a small Philips screw holding the cover on, you will need to remove this screw and cover to access the key hole (warning: when you remove the cover it also holds the number pad in place so it can fall off). Once the safe is opened you can put the batteries in and use the red button to program your code. I then measured dimensions of the protruding back end of the safe, and found the location of one stud where I wanted to mount it; I then cut the opening to match the dimensions from the backing of the safe. It fit in perfectly, and I was able to secure it to studs on both sides of the safe, I made my cut so that one side of the safe was flush against the stud, and I would estimate I had about a 1"-1.5" gap on the other side. The lag bolts that came with it are a bit small for the application, but with 3 on each side I felt it was secure enough. Uses: The unit stores both of my handguns easily a .40 and a .38, I have them standing up on the bottom shelf, as well as multiple spare magazines and boxes of bullets. The middle shelf can only be utilized to about ½ the depth since the battery and tumbler mechanism protrude out into that area. Conclusion: It is a great wall safe for security of smaller items, with a programmable coded entry. I am not sure if this is the best "Hidden" safe since the key pad and turn knob protrude out the front almost an inch, so if your picture has a flat back it will not sit flush against the wall, and be pushed out by the safe. We have ours mounted in a walk-in closet behind the hanging clothes so I am not concerned about that issue. Even with that minor issue for the price, and easy installation it is definitely worth it, and still a 5-star item.

Great wall safe. it fit great. it is a little smaller then the wall studs so it will have to be shimmed to fit your walls inside. i am guessing they do this cause all walls a little different. but perfect flush fit on the face of the wall and hides the cut out. it even came with lag bolts for install. my wife loves it as it is easy to use.

Excelente caja fuerte. Precio insuperable. Calidad buenísima. Difícil de instalar ya que lo hice en muro de ladrillo y fue un gran trabajo hacer el agujero para ensamblarla. Pero una vez hecho quedó súper oculta, resistente y además le coloqué tornillos de muro a muro así que imposible de arrancarla. El único detalle es que no se puede desactivar el ruido al oprimir cada tecla de la clave y puede escucharlo gente cerca. Además se abre con llave así que no hay riesgo de pérdida de clave. El espacio interior suficiente para una caja de este tipo. Realmente es una buena caja de seguridad anti ladrones. Aunque la llegaran a encontrar tardarían horas en arrancarla al menos que llevaran picos y palas para hacerlo. La clave es que no la encuentren. Y con un cuadro encima no lo harán. Es fácil para abrirla diario si uno desea. Caben perfecto relojes, llaves de coches, dinero, monedas, joyas, facturas vehiculares (dobladas) y demás. Está pesada pero es prueba de su resistencia. La puede instalar uno solo (yo lo hice). Por tan poco dinero no entiendo por qué la gente sigue arriesgando esconder sus valores en lugares simples y vulnerables.
