Perfect bag. Great for airport travel. Fit's Macbook Air 11.6".
I was preparing for a trip overseas and needed a new bag. I checked out a number of different sling bags before settling on this one. It ended up being an excellent choice. I really like traveling light so wanted something relatively small and slim (but also with a practical amount of space) as my "personal item" for airplane travel. I also was looking specifically for something that fit my computer (Macbook Air 11.6") but didn't overdo it (again, I like to travel light and have an intentionally compact computer because of that. Most computer bags are just overkill for a Macbook Air). This bag was perfect! You can stuff quite a bit into it if you want to, but even with a decent amount in tow it keeps a slim profile. It is just the right size for the Macbook Air 11.6". In the main/largest compartment there is a pocket with an elastic top that is the full width and about half the length of the bag. The Macbook fits in their perfectly and is just the right length for the bag to be able to zip (if the bag was a little shorter or the taper a little narrower, it wouldn't fit, so anything bigger than the 11.6" Air would be a no go. My guess is that the new 12" Macbook would fit too though I haven't tried it). The different compartments and pockets are great. In the main area it is just one big space with the pocket I mentioned. This pocket I use for the computer is not padded and only covers about half the macbook, so you might need to be careful about what else you put in there with a computer. The back of the bag (between the computer and your back) is lightly padded, so that's good. The middle compartment also has ample space and includes some smaller pockets for things like pens, phone, iPod, etc. The third/exterior compartment is small and perfect for smaller odds and ends that you want to be able to grab quickly (I kept things like headphones, chapstick, etc in there). In addition there is a mesh pocket on the side as you can see in the pictures where you can keep a water bottle or umbrella. I used it for a water bottle and it was very handy. There's a drawstring on it to tighten if needed. There's also a small pocket on the strap that goes across your chest. I don't know if it's intended for a phone, but I have an iPhone 6 and it wasn't even close to fitting. This is a small inconspicuous pocket basically in the seam of the strap, so I found it perfect for keeping cash, credit card, etc. There's also a loop to hang your sunglasses from on the front of the strap (surprisingly useful). The key feature of this bag for me though was the hidden pocket in the back. You can kind of get a look at it in one of the pictures. Basically there is a pocket built into the back panel of the bag, accessed by a zipper along the side seam (opposite side from the mess pocket). When you're wearing the bag, the pocket is unnoticeable and pretty unaccessible (unless you're really not paying attention and someone is a very skilled pickpocket). The size of the pocket is great for passports, checkbooks, cash, etc. , even a thin smartphone worked well in there (flat stuff works well in this pocket since it's in the back panel. you wouldn't want to stick anything thick or bulky in there as it would probably make the bag sit awkwardly on your back). For airport travel this was perfect because you could stow passport, boarding passes, etc. in here and then if you have it strapped over your right shoulder (the strap is swappable between left and right), you can easily and quickly rotate the bag around under your left arm to your chest and you're then looking directly down onto this hidden side pocket. Honestly, this was sheer perfection. This pocket made this bag awesome for airport travel. In addition, the clip to disconnect the strap was great as it allowed removing the bag quickly when pulling it up over my head would have been inconvenient. It was awesome for air travel and then throughout my trip with several daylong tourist excursions, it made an excellent day bag. Very satisfied with this bag. I don't really ever write reviews for things, but I'm doing it because this bag is just that great.

Makes a great diaper bag for a busy mom of two boys
I purchased this backpack as a diaper bag shortly before my second son was born. I had been gifted diaper bags with my first son but I often ended up putting them down in order to care for my son. The bags were either falling off my shoulder or too heavy/uncomfortable to carry very long comfortably. My toddler is a very busy little guy and I'm chasing after him a lot. I wanted a bag that could hold what I needed and was easy to carry no matter the situation. I love that this bag holds what I need for a day trip and is easy to get into with one hand. I can wear it comfortably for hours on my back. This means that when my husband comes to me and asks "do you have a baby wipes," I have one right there and don't have to remember where I put my bag down last. There is a small zipper against your back (while wearing) that is perfect for wallet, phone, and keys. Those are the items I reach for the most when I am the busiest. It also keeps those items safe because the zipper isn't visible while wearing. The rest of the zippers I can reach with one hand (with practice) while wearing or I can swing the bag to the front of me and I can reach them easier. There is a bottle holder on the side that I most often use for bottles of water for me. I can reach this with one hand while wearing the bag as well. The bag is easy to keep clean. So far I've been able to just wipe off what has been spilled on it. I also feel like it has a good number of pockets to store items to where it’s not too confusing when it comes time to find items. I’ve had a diaper bag with lots of pockets and I always felt like I had to search way to long when trying to help an upset baby. Here are the items I am able to carry easily with this bag: 3-5 small diaper for baby 2 diapers for toddler Diaper cream Package of wipes Nursing cover 2 backup outfits for baby (or one for baby one for toddler) 2 snack items (like fruit snacks and applesauce) 2 burp clothes Infant Tylenol Infant Gas Drops Backup pair of nursing pads Pen Wallet Phone Car keys Several travel antibacterial wipe packages Toddler silverware Bottle of water It is so nice to chase after my toddler while holding the baby. No matter the situation so far, I’ve been able to carry the basic items we need and have them at an arms reach. I wish I had had this bag when my first son was born.

Great Grab and go Bag
I bought this OutdoorMaster Sling Bag as an Amazon Prime deal that put the price at about $16. At that price I would recommend it no problem. For the everyday price I see it listed at (around $22-$23) I would still recommend it but I would also say there are better sling bags in that range. It is a little small for the price point and although it does feel like it will last at least a few years, I have not owned it long enough to say for sure. What I do know: It is not a bad bag. The quality of the materials are good for the money. The stitching is strong and the zippers operate smoothly without issues. I bought it in blue and although it is darker than I expected it does look sharp and I am happy with the color. The size is good for my normal daily use as a grab and go bag I take with me to work. I use a few different sling bags and transfer the contents between them. I keep an iPad pro (2017 model) inside along with a dual charger, a few charging cables for various devices, a pair of wired earphones, a travel sized bottle of hand sanitizer, and a small bottle of aspirin. The OutdoorMaster holds the items the same as the other sling bags I use only with less room left to spare. It has a small, almost hidden zipper pocket on the back that I like. It would work well for a passport or small wallet. There is another even smaller zipper pocket hidden in the sling but it is too small to be of much use to me. Maybe for a place to put taxi money while traveling or a hotel room key. The sling can easily be positioned to wear on the left shoulder or the right and is nicely padded. There is additional padding on the back of the bag as well. The outside pocket for a water bottle works well and the pull closure that keeps the bottle in place is a nice touch. The hardware on the bag may or may not be metal. I can not say for sure as they have the look and feel of metal but are not magnetic. Maybe a coated brass or aluminum. They do look good and compliment the design of the sling bag. I use a sling bag almost everyday but I have several in different colors. I do not use the OutdoorMaster Sling Bag as much as others but when I do use it, I have no complaints.

Best bag EVER!!
I bought this bag January 2020 for a 4 day trip to Florida for a long weekend because I didn’t want to pay for a carry on. I was able to fit what I needed and it was easy to use and comfortable to wear. Fast forward to April 2020, I had my first child. Got an expensive faux leather diaper bag, hated it, decided to use this little bag as a diaper bag instead and it worked absolutely perfect. I’m about to have my third child in Feb 2024, the bag is in literal perfect condition with daily use for almost 4 years, it is hands down the best little bag and I’m always amazed that it holds what I want and is easy to carry around! Buy the bag. If they had it in purple I would buy another one, but only for color difference! The functionality of the bag is still the same as the day I bought it. Worth every dollar!

Great travel bag.
This bag is great. It holds a lot and is comfortable to wear. There are 4 zippered sections and two have pockets inside. It had no issues after being washed. I have worn just on one shoulder and as a crossbody.

Still a good bag 9 mos. later
Product: OutdoorMaster Sling Bag - Crossbody Backpack (black), $19.99 Update 06/2020: 9 months later, it’s still in daily use. I usually have a charger and my phone in the bottle pouch (if you wear the bag on your chest, over your right shoulder, that pouch is perfect for your phone). I noticed slight fraying of the pouch material, but it looks to be near the bottom, roughly where the bottle’s base used to extend it. I noticed slight fraying where the loop attaches the strap at the base of the bag. This is the extent of the wear. I’m pretty impressed. Again, this is after daily use for 9 months. Still recommend the bag. Original impression 10/2019: Fits small tablet in the medium pocket, a couple of “gadget” pouches in the main pocket, a meaty battery pack in the side pocket. Small front pocket is fist-sized, and fits a folded Bluetooth keyboard. Tiny strap pocket is good for receipts (or keys I suppose). Bottle carrier is stable & deep enough for a standard thermos without fear of droppage. The medium pocket has flimsy inner sleeves, only the biggest of which I expect to use - for an envelope/small notepad etc. Compact. Will probably fit less stuff than you expect. Materials feel sturdy, though I did find two loose threads, but they don’t seem to affect anything. Comfortable bag. Good first impression.

Quality issue
Great size and function of pockets and bottle holder worked great on overseas trip. Issue however with bag inside quality. Part way into trip in the large section the lining partially came away from the seam holding it in place. I am past my return window. I get that it is not a real expensive bag but mine only held up for two weeks of daily use.

Lightweight, Functional, and Perfect for Day Trips — A Reliable Sling Bag
This sling bag has quickly become my go-to for hiking, biking, and short day trips. It’s lightweight yet surprisingly spacious, with enough compartments to keep essentials like a water bottle, wallet, phone, and snacks organized and easily accessible. The design is thoughtful as the adjustable strap allows for comfortable crossbody wear, and the breathable back padding keeps it snug without feeling restrictive during longer treks. The zippers and material feel durable, holding up well even after repeated outdoor use. Whether navigating city streets or trails, this sling bag strikes the perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and durability. For anyone looking for a practical, reliable daypack, it’s a winner that makes outings hassle-free and enjoyable.
