The Best Meats Visit the Store The Best Meats Visit the Store Review: Great Bacon plus customer service - Petersons baking is awesome. Go to your local grocery store and try to find organic free range bacon or ham. You won’t find it. So you pay more for this right? Look at any superior food compared to the fake food that’s offered on the shelves of your grocery store. Any real food costs more than fake crappy food. It’s unfortunate that we have to pay more to have less in our food but the less is comprised of chemicals that are damaging to our health. This bacon tastes better, and I take great comfort, knowing it is far healthier and pigs with their snout in their crap and the mud of swine feedlots. Review: DELICIOUS! - I am thrilled to find such a delicious bacon that is sugar free! It tastes slightly sweet and the smoke flavor is fabulous. I noticed that several over reviews mentioned it was too salty. It is not too salty for me. To me, bacon is supposed to be salty and used as a side dish or a topping so it needs to be salty and I take this into account when salting my eggs. However, I needn't have been worried, once I tasted it I thought it was totally on par with regular bacon or even a little less salty. Salt is an individual taste, of course, but if you are concerned I would rate this slightly less salty than conventional bacon on the market -- but yes, bacon is a salty product.
