Yes, I have placed reviews before for products that I have either been happy about or if I felt that potential buyers should know tips/trick about the product. I will note, I do not sell homemade products, but do enjoy making them and potentially giving as gifts. I, honestly, did not think I would be leaving a review for empty lip balm containers. Today was my first time using these empty containers and filled with homemade lip balm. What I am thrilled about is that it turned out beyond great! First, the tube itself is smooth. There are zero rough edges when applying to your lips. Second, the cap is easy on/off. The best part is you actually can hear and feel a "click" when putting the cap on. This is a homemade lip balm, so it is a little on the softer side. It is also summer, so there is that slight fear that I will end up with a melted mess. Knowing the cap is "secure" makes me so relieved. Third, I am gald that I went with the clear tube's versus white/colored. Since this is for my personal use, I like the fact that I know how much is still available to use. So overall, I would definitely recommend this product for the DYIers. Oh, my hint.. when filling the tube's, I got about 7ml on my medicine dropper. Make sure you shimmy the holders when your balm is still liquid to get the non-visible air bubbles out. Before it starts to solidify, top off with a little extra balm as the hot liquid will settle/shrink as is cools. I could get another 1-2 ml in by doing this.

I buy tubes every couple of years. These are just as good as the other ones

Good tubes for the money. My only complaint is that these do not fit standard lip balm tube filler thingys.

Overall the product does what it's supposed to do - hold lip balm/chapstick - which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The only issue I had with them was they didn't fit in the chapstick tube fill tray that I have used successfully with many brands for 10 years. Because of this, I had to hand pour into each tube. It wasn't the worst thing, but messy and took more time. Again, overall does what it's supposed to do and the lids do stay on well. Never had any issues with lids slipping off.

These work as described. They are totally clear (base and cap) and I’ll probably get a white cap next time. Wonderful to use for special little gifts.

I feel like they are pretty cheaply made

Caps stay on tight and haven't came across any defects, the price is on point as well.
