4.5/5 ⭐️ I struggled to find a mermaid costume that would be school-appropriate as a teacher and this is exactly what I needed! I am in between a 12/14 depending on brand. I ordered the Large and it fit very well. Not as forgiving on my tummy as I’d prefer, but a little shapewear can fix anything! 😜 I hadn’t planned on using the pearl waste chain that came with the order but when I tried it on it was GORGEOUS. (And took away some attention from the tummy mentioned above.) Unfortunately, it broke early on in the morning. I’m not sure if it was a fluke or if is just the quality of it. The skirt was comfortable and I was able to comfortably wear it for more than 12 hours total. It restricted my movement getting in and out of my SUV, but otherwise it was no issue. I just pulled the bottom up higher so I had better movement and fixed it once I got out of the car! The material is very smooth and shiny! 🧜‍♀️

Cute, fits well, and stretchy. I didn't think it was nearly as difficult to walk in as some other reviews suggested, though it is a big restrictive in knees. Seems true to size

My daughter and I are doing matching Ariel costumes this year and I was having a hard time finding a mermaid tail skirt that would actually fit me. I looked at reviews and decided I’d give this one a shot and I’m so happy I did! It’s comfortable, soft, stretchy and it fits beautifully! Flattering to my body and at a great price! 10/10 would recommend. It delivered the next day I’m so happy with it! Matches my daughter’s costume perfectly. Great quality and I tried it on with pants just in case Halloween is cold and even with pants under it fits perfectly

I had many complaints on this skirt. I did size up from a medium to a large so it was not skin tight. Looked great. Good value for the money. I usually wear a medium 5’6” 145 lbs

Often, I am weary to buy clothing online, even costumes (which can be even harder.) I read all the reviews here and others that sell this item online. I inferred from them that you should size down. I noticed several reviewers who, I believe might be around a size 8-10, bought a size small. I'm usually a size 5/6 and occasionally can fit in 3/4. According to the size guide, I would be a medium. What isn't taken into account is the stretchy material. I bought a size small and it fit perfectly! I'm 5'6" 130lbs. The length is perfect right above the floor. I can walk in this great, but I imagine if you are a bigger body in a size small then it will be harder to walk. I absolutely LOVE how soft this material is and how it accentuates the figure (always lived that about mermaid dresses!) I am adoring this mermaid costume with it's fit, vibrant popping color, and cute plastic accessory charm. It's cute as heck. I hope to get use of this over and over throughout the years. I know this material, so the key to longevity would be to keep it hanging in a closet not folded or crunched up in any way.

I love this skirt for my mermaid outfit -- it's pretty and stretchy so it is super comfortable.

I bought this for my costume this year. Its not expensive but it looks SERIOUSLY amazing on and it fit me perfectly. Cant wait for Halloween
