these were the easiest sound proofing panels to put up ever, they cane in the mail today and i out then up as soon as they got here without waiting for then to poof up bc they aren't foam, i love them and they look amazing, they fit nice, they're thickness and length are just as advertised, he they feel hard and durable, and sturdy. hope this helps anyone looking for ones to buy for a home studio. hardcorexof on spotify! :)

Purchased one set of these to sound dampen my door. The first set was installed by someone else in my house without checking the dimensions first. I ordered the second set based on them telling me that they worked really well without getting to see them myself. I reordered the exact item through Amazon by means of the "order this again" option and the second set that I received was the correct measurement that it should have been for the first order. However the first set was already installed and now I have these much larger panels. I don't want to have to remove the old panels off of my door and reconfigure send them back and reorder new ones. I would very much like to be sent the smaller panel size so that I could just continue filling up the door with the existing pattern. I've been having an extremely difficult time through Amazon customer service as well as the sellers customer service email to get this handled. The product itself works great. The self-adhesion works, The color is what I wanted, and it helps to reduce incoming noise from outside of my room. But somebody messed up by sending a completely wrong product and I can't even find these hexagon panels on Amazon with the first order received size.

I had different intentions for this product. I needed to sound proof a vented door. It looks esthetically cool and fits well. Had to cut half of these and it was not easy so I say it's definitely durable, Thick, and layered. As far as noice reduction, it definitely works but there's a caveat to how It works in my specific space. Also as you can see I used it in conjunction with another sound proofing material. I got 3 packs that covered a 49X80 inch area and had 4 pads left. So I'd say pretty good overall. Not sure why smell is a factor but there wasn't one when one when I opened the package. I'd say if even it doesn't fully get ride of all noise it can be a cool decorative element. Definitely gives futuristic/ star wars by itself, especially if you add lights in between or behind them.

I liked the look of these panels and they do stick very well as long as you clean the wall a little before you apply them. However, they do not really do a ton in terms of sound dampening or echo cancellation. I was pretty aware of this before buying though, it was mainly for the look with the hopefully added bonus of dampening but I had about 45 of them on my wall and didn't notice a big difference. The MAJOR downside you should be aware of is how strong the adhesive is if you ever plan to remove them. As I said before I had over 40 of these on my college dorm room's wall, so I had to remove them when the year was over. These left A TON of adhesive all over the wall, and I was being EXTREMELY careful when removing because the adhesive was so strong it was pulling the paper off of the drywall and creating bubbles. I had to go through 2 bottles of adhesive remover over the course of multiple days of scraping to get it all off. Now I will say, this is probably better than if the adhesive was very weak and they just fell off the wall all of the time. That was partially what I was expecting because other reviews said that. These never once fell off the wall, obviously. Common sense also says you should also just assume this will happen with anything sticky you are putting on drywall. So I am not really docking much for that because it is my own fault. It is mostly just a 3 star because they don't really do what they are supposed to in terms of acoustics. But they do look cool.

The material felt like quality. Each hexagonal panel was cut perfectly with the others, and the sticky side really held in place (just remember to wipe the wall surface with alcohol first). I bought these twice, and at 19$ then $22 plus tax, they were a great value.

We have placed several orders for these sound panels. They definitely deadened the echo we had on cement based walls. They also look very appealing. Most people think these are wall decorations unless we mention the sound panels.

Looks nice while up but very hard to remove. Took hours to remove adhesive from wall without damaging the paint. Don’t buy these if you don’t want a nightmare removal process.

I planned on using these to cover an entire wall... I love them but I'd have to buy A LOT more if I want to cover even half of my wall... expensive but they look cool.

I bought two packs having read reviews of several similar products. The neighbours have been moaning that my daughter makes too much noise, so these seemed the best for actually reducing sound going through the wall rather than just making sound quality better if you were say, recording a podcast in a room. I planned how I wanted them set out and once the first one was up, the rest were easy to apply. They stick very well (wash the wall first, it will help) and look great too.
