Zoeller 30-0041 50 psi PVC 2-Port Check Valve, 1-1/2"

Clear quite close my customers love them 1st there quite and 2nd they can see the flow. Give them peace of mind seeing it actually working

Built well, VERY quiet compared to traditional flapper check valve, I like the threaded couplers because it is faster to disassemble then hose clamps. Time will tell if it is good quality and stays clear, but I like it so far.

This is a quality product that really works well. I had a cheap check valve that failed and caused my pedestal sump pump to run constantly, causing it to overheat. Luckily I was home at the time and noticed the smell / smoke before it was a real problem. The old check valve had a water hammer eliminator build in, which worked for a while. After some time, it no longer was quiet. I installed the Zoeller check valve and it was very quiet - quieter than the old one with the built in water hammer eliminator. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it. And, it is made in the USA. Well worth the price.

This check valve with union slip port fittings saves work. It is very quite. Nice to see the flow through the clear valve body. I have used the opaque is the past and this clear valve is of the same quality and functionality.

This check valve is easy to install and replace if needed. It functions well as it is very quiet. One word of caution, be sure the seal is properly seated before tightening and turning the pump on. I deducted one star because the seal on my unit kept falling out causing water to spray all over. It worked fine after seating it properly.

I never knew a check valve could be this silent. I bought and installed this for my father in-law to give him visible proof the sump pump was ejecting the water because the sump lid is sealed, and this valve is transparent. I had no idea it was also so silent they cannot hear the sump running from upstairs. I recommend it for anyone that's tired of hearing the clunking of their sump check valve during the rainy season.

It makes it so easy when I have to change pumps. I just unscrew at pump side and install my new pump by screwing new pump in. Also nice to be able to see the functionality of valve.

Not sure how to rate the noise level, is 1 very quiet or is 5 very quiet? This checkvalve is so quiet you hear nothing when it closes. The plumber who installed it for me was dumbfounded at how quiet it was. My previous checkvalve (the one my plumber usually installs for clients and who claims is very quiet) would create a very loud bang when the valve closed. As I have a bedroom immediately above the sump pump this bang often woke those who were sleeping there. Not any more. Note: this valve does not change any noise coming from the pump itself so keep that in mind.

Highly recommend. I have replaced the check valve few times. After the last (quiet) one failed, I contacted our plumber. He recommended this Zoeller. I had to glue it in place, but it works great - worth the extra money. I'm so happy with it , I ordered another. If the one installed does fail, I can quickly unscrew it and swap it out. This check valve is silent!

I didn't like how long it took to get to my location ,but was worth the wait after we installed it , its sooooooooooooooooooo quite just as advertised ,I would purchase it again, I highly recommend this product what a relief no more rumbling sound or banging ,and it is very well made very solid .Thank you amazon for service right to my door ,how great is that ,

After purchasing numerous other "Silent Check Valves" that didn't last over a month, this one seems to be actually working properly after a 2 months. Still no banging, only complaint is that it states 1 1/2", had to purchase 2" adaptors to fit it properly onto the 11/2 sump pump lines . Overall very pleased with the product
