Healthy, happy cats
I've had my 4 cats on the Chicken and Sweet Potato variety for over a year. In that time, I've seen and felt changes: bright eyes, a healthy weight, and silky fur. I appreciate the small kibble, since one of my cats has no teeth. He manages to eat it, but has to play with it first. This food isn't inexpensive, but based on the results I see, it's worth it for my babies. The ingredient list satisfies everything they need, and Merrick is a quality product. I have this on Subscribe, since finding a 12lb bag in the wild is almost impossible (and a LOT more expensive).

Very impressed with this food.
I am very impressed with this food. We have an older, male cat that has food problems and it has been very difficult to find a food that works for him. He is also over weight so the vet put him on a special prescription only food. For a year he was on that food that cost us $80 a month. While it was okay and helped a little with his issues (he originally lost a few pounds, but gained them back), I decided to look around to see what else was available now. I first tried Hills Science Diet because it was very close to the one we were getting from the vet, but that made him throw up more and he started peeing on the carpet. I then tried Blue Buffalo because of the rave reviews. I have to say this was the worst one. He was still throwing up, had very stinky and wet poops, It also made him bloated and he started pooping on the carpet as well because he didn't feel good. Keep in mind I bought the grain free version of Blue Buffalo. After doing a lot more research, I decided to try this one. After a month, my cat is acting better than he has in 5 years. Almost all of his issues are gone and he only rarely throws up (hair balls do happen after all). He is even running and playing more than he ever has and he's almost 10 years. I wish I had found this food a long time ago. Plus this food seems to keep him full a lot longer than any food ever has. It is so nice that he isn't always begging for food. I imagine that since he is eating less and is more energetic that he will loose the weight and we won't have to spend $80 a month on food. This food is well worth the try.

Picky cat likes it - added to the rotation of dry food
Not a fan of all the "meal" ingredients, but I know my Clifford likes the other ingredients. He'll eat this sometimes before his canned liver and chicken hearts from fancy feast. He won't go for fresh food like my dog so this is a win to be added to his rotation. He has a cleft pallete (missing part of his mouth) and sensitive stomach. No issues whatsoever (

My picky cats like it
My picky cats really like taste of this new kibble and keep trying to come back for more. I really like that it is grain free and has no preservatives. I only wish the size of the kibble was a little bigger like they're used to. It's more like kitten sized. And since I have 3 cats, I would like to be able to buy a bigger bag, too. I've been looking for a replacement for Purina Beyond grain free, and this looks like it, other than the size of the kibble and a 12 lb bag instead of a 16 lb bag.

Cat is as happy as as a cat can be
My cat has really soft fur and loves this food. I wouldn’t change his food for anything.

Priced too high for what you get
It’s on the more healthy side tho really there isn’t a kibble that we should feed our pets. Tge dogs like the little that I give them at each feeding. It’s way overpriced tho.

Excellent quality!
Close to perfect for all my cats! After over 50 years of multiple cat ownership, I have learned that *no* cat food is totally perfect for every cat in the world - not even for every one of the eight cats currently living in my household. You find whatever is closest for the majority, and provide whatever might be additionally required for any cat with individual special needs. I have also learned that, as a rule, cats don't appreciate changes in their diets, and you have give them time to adjust to something new. Please don't permit your cat to dictate what you feed it! They often make unwise choices - which I quickly learned when I began seriously reading and comparing the labels that list the contents of the food. Even many of the "big name" companies have cat food that is comparable to humans' "junk food" - and you wouldn't permit your child to live on candy and potato chips simply because that was the food your child preferred! I have also learned from several veterinarians that good quality canned food should be fed in addition to dry kibble - for a variety of reasons. This is always recommended, *unless* it's specifically directed otherwise by your vet due to a medical condition. This product is, in a word, EXCELLENT. I had been feeding an expensive kibble, produced by a major manufacturer, that contained as the MAJOR INGREDIENTS!) brewers rice, poultry by-product meal (and you can imagine what "poultry by-products are") and corn gluten meal. Poultry by-products can contain ground feathers, feet and toenails - anything not fit for normal consumption. Read what's on the label of your current cat food and compare it to Merrick cat foods - then decide what you want to feed your cat. And don't let your cat manipulate you into feeding her/him "kitty junk food" that tastes good to them because of things like "animal liver flavor" and "filet mignon flavor" - which would probably make cardboard tasty but which has zero nutritional value!
