Can you use these in cake mix before you bake?

As a chef, I wouldn't recommend! However, as soon as the cake comes out the oven, you can poke holes in it with a fork, pour warmed up frosting on cake and add sprinkles. You can also do a small test cake, add sprinkles to batter, bake and see how it comes out! Best of Luck!
