Tungsten Cube - 1"

If you found this item, you are part of a club of strange minded individuals. We like appreciating materials, holding something and marveling at its density, or we just don't know what to do with ourselves. You won't regret buying this if you wanted to in the first place. It's very nice, heavy, and feels premium. If you've ever worn a steel ring, then tried a titanium ring, or done the same with watches and bracelets, you will notice the stark difference in mass. This is no exception. I work with steel, but this tungsten feels super dense. Love it!

Nearly everyone who comes into my office has to pick it up and comment on how heavy it is. It’s made from solid Tungsten so it’s not going to break. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

This is nicely finished and has the density expected. There ar no numbers, letters, or other marks on the brushed surface. The alloy (pure tungsten is quite difficult to machine) has some ferrous metal in it, so a magnet will attract it. I wanted to have cubes of various dense metals, but osmium is too toxic, rhenium and iridium too rare, and gold too costly. One hears platinum is getting cheaper. Perhaps soon I'll be able to afford a platinum cube. I bought two and gave one to a well-chosen friend, who appreciated it. I have not used it in any way that would permit me to estimate its durability. Is it fun? Opinions vary wildly. I like mine.

This cube was a stocking stuffer for my partner and he loves it! All the men at our Christmas party also were intrigued by the heavy cube. Worth the price! Corners are rounded so they are not sharp. Cube is virtually perfect!

so the tungsten cube looks great and i like the beaviled edges as tungsten is pretty strong and the one thing i was not expecting was a little triangle stand for the cube pretty nice touch but all in all a nice like show piece and its still crazy just how heavy the little 1 inch cube is

We bought this for our son - this cube is great for anyone with an interest in metals, etc. It's also quite a conversation piece, and is something fun that will last forever. I would have loved to get the 1kg version, but this one satisfies for a small fraction of the price. Ours came just like the photos show - beveled edges and smooth all around, no machining marks or burrs.

I thought I had a decent understanding of life. I felt stable, I felt like I knew what I wanted and that I understood how things worked. Then i held this cube. My entire perception of the world shattered instantly; how could this beautiful element exist for 33 years without my knowledge of it? We all have so much to learn, the cube teaches us that. Ego and insecurity have no place on an Earth with this cube's existence. There's so much more to learn, more growth to be had, and more love to be shared. Life is the cube.
