Review: You Need One of These - If you need to run wires/cables through walls and ceilings, you really need this. I have used this so many times over the years and it's flexible enough to get through small places but strong enough where it doesn't just bend around and not go through. I used my son's for a couple of years now because I didn't think I needed it that often and he only lives about ten minutes away. But after needing it again this past weekend and him being out of town (I still could have gone to his house to get it but I didn't want to), I just ordered my own. It's not that expensive and something you always need at some point so why not have it hanging in the garage for when you do??? Stop thinking about it and just buy it. Review: Exactly what I needed - I was installing a power transfer switch for a generator, I fought to get my wire through the wall and into my crawl space for 3 days. I finally decided I needed to get a tool to help get it through. Once I for this thing maybe took 10 minutes to get it through. I'm super glad I bought it ## Features - Durable, high carbon 1/4-Inch wide spring steel fish tapes are firm yet flexible - New protective coating reduces non-contact moisture and humidity but keeps the steel dry to touch - Laser etched markings in 1-Foot (0.3 m) descending increments allow you to more accurately measure the length of conduit runs and determine the amount of tape left to pay out - Slim-profile plastic tip navigates easily and reduces catching - Optimized design of the tape housing decreases payout effort; compact size makes it a staple for your everyday tool bag - Made in the US with Global Components - Case and handle offer the maximum impact resistance ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B089DT2NKR | | Additional Features | Wide Steel Fish Tape | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,650 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #2 in Electrical Fish Tape | | Blade Length | 25 feet | | Blade Material | Alloy Steel | | Blade Width | 0.25 inches | | Brand | KLEIN TOOLS | | Brand Name | KLEIN TOOLS | | Case Material | Alloy Steel | | Case Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Color | Orange/Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,458 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00092644563355 | | Included Components | Wide Steel Fish 1/4-Inch x 25-Foot | | Item Dimensions L x W | 0.25"W | | Item Highlight | Spring Steel Tape, Slim Plastic Tip, Laser Etched 1-Foot Markings | | Item Type Name | Building Material | | Item Weight | 1.2 pounds | | Lock Type | Laser | | Manufacturer | Klein Tools | | Measurement Accuracy | ±1/16 inch per 10 feet | | Model | 56335 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 56335 | | Product Dimensions | 0.25"W | | UPC | 092644563355 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Please refer to attached warranty document. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** KLEIN TOOLS - **Color:** Orange/Black - **Item Weight:** 16 ounces - **Measurement Accuracy:** ±1/16 inch per 10 feet - **Product Dimensions:** 0.25"W ## Images ![56335 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51D-cvWk3lL.jpg) ![56335 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61OCQkoGh+L.jpg) ![56335 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617ycQK5kVL.jpg) ![56335 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OVbuHkU1L.jpg) ![56335 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CVITPGqnL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Several 90-degree bends in this project's steel square channel tubing-- is the 1/4" flexible enough to easily make elbow-bends or a headache?** A: 90 degree bends on square tubing is going to make you work for it, it will be pretty tuff not so much pulling the wire, the hard part will be pushing the Fish Tape through the tubing around the 90s, try a vacuum and some string, suck the string through first, attach the string to the Fish Tape or wire and pul it through, they actually have string for this application. **Q: what do you have for pulling co-ax cable?** A: If I'm running over head ill use a set of fish rods but down a wall ill use a combination of the rods or fish tape **Q: Mine arrived with no tip visible. Is this expected?** A: Mine has a plastic tip. **Q: Can i use this for a tv power cord? there is already a hole in the wall top and bottom for the hdmi cable.** A: Easy, just use some electrical tape to connect the two. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You Need One of These *by B***R on July 14, 2025* If you need to run wires/cables through walls and ceilings, you really need this.
