does one filter last for 200 gallons or all three meaning 75 gallons PER filter?

Does this filter out excess salt? I live in a hard water area and have a whole house water softener, so my drinking water can be salty.

Dear Customer, Thanks for your interest in our WD-PF-01A Plus filters. Sorry, we do not recommend our pitchers to filter soft water. Soft water contains a lot of sodium ions. Even though our pitcher can remove part of the sodium ions in the water, sodium ions is still high in the filtered water. I see in 2021 these were not recyclable & the manufacturer was looking for a program to partner with to recycle these. Has this been addressed yet?
