Oral-B Pro 7000 SmartSeries Electric Toothbrush with Bluetooth Connectivity, Black (Packaging May Vary)

I received this toothbrush a few days ago and already super loving it. First of all, let’s start off with the initial presentation of the toothbrush. It came in a two compartment box where one side was the toothbrush and charger whereas the other side had the case. The packaging is great and secure. Let’s start off with the toothbrush case itself. It looks and feels very premium. I feel very safe and secure leaving my toothbrush and additional replacement heads kept in there. You can keep up to two replacement heads in there and your toothbrush by the way. The case is sturdy that it seems like it can take a fall and go unharmed. Let’s now talk about the smart timer that came with it. It also comes with two batteries and a mount to put on your mirror or wherever you want to stick it. Make sure to read to instruction book on how to set the time correctly and also to connect your toothbrush to this timer. I found this timer feature pretty useful because of how it gives you a rating after each time you brush. The smiley face will change depending on how you brush. It will also tell you the time elapsed or remaining depending on how you set it up. After you finish brushing, it will basically act like a clock so that is always nice to have in the bathroom. Now, onto the main toothbrush itself! This toothbrush not only looks premium but it felt very comfortable in my hands too. It is also super easy to take off the brush head. You just gently pull up and then you are ready to switch. The Bluetooth was also relatively easy to set up to the phone. Make sure you download the Oral B app and turning on Bluetooth on the phone before connecting this toothbrush. After downloading just open the app up and press the power button on the toothbrush and it will connect on your phone! I thought it would be the type of Bluetooth where you have to choose the device to connect to but nope, it's even simpler than that. For those who want to use the toothbrush right away, you will have to wait a little. *My toothbrush came with absolutely 0% battery and wouldn't even turn on* It took about the 24 hours written in the manual to completely charge. I started using it around 2 hours in though because I couldn't wait. It is super easy to charge too. You should place your toothbrush on the charger and then it'll charge. It'll show you how many bars of battery has been charged. If it turns off and doesn't show any battery levels anymore then it is fully charged! Let’s get to the brushing part. Not only does this toothbrush make it fun and kind of like a game but makes me want to brush. I started using the toothbrush head that was already installed on the toothbrush and it cleaned my teeth really clean. It was powerful but not too strong where it hurts me. This toothbrush is also great too because it will warn you if you are placing too much pressure. The toothbrush and power thoroughly cleans my teeth and my mouth so much cleaner compared to manual toothbrush and a 10 dollar electric toothbrush that I used before. You can actually feel the difference. All of this can be tracked on your Oral B app to see how long you have been brushing and you can also do different programs on how you want to brush your teeth and your goal. This, I believe is a really cool feature. The toothbrush itself also has 6 different modes. The tongue cleaning mode is pretty neat because it is gentle when on that mode and cleans my tongue pretty well. The other modes are great too. I also really like the whitening mode as it seems to polish more of an area and the rhythm is a little different which is pretty neat. After using your toothbrush it is easy to clean as you just have to rinse it and clean it a little bit and you’re golden. You can either keep it on the charger or leave it on your counter with no problem. Overall, I really recommend this product because it not only makes me want to brush, but makes me brush more too. It not only keeps my teeth clean, but will keep my gums healthy.

To begin with, I have owned a Braun electric toothbrush for many years. I have one of their older rotating head models that still works well. In other words, I have experience with these toothbrushes. I also feel that, by far, you get a better clean using a rotating brush over a standard one. I am a little over 50 years of age. In my lifetime, I have only had one cavity. I take great pride in maintaining proper dental hygiene. I believe anyone can be cavity-free if they floss regularly and brush their teeth and gums twice a day for at least two minutes. What I liked about the older Braun electric toothbrush was that I could actually time my brushings to the recommended 2 minutes. Start the holder, and at the two minute mark, the brush heads would make a funny motion to indicate that your two-minute mark has occurred. This new 7000 SmartSeries toothbrush takes that experience to a whole new level. The best thing about this expensive toothbrush is that it comes with a portable gauge with adhesive holder that you tack on to your bathroom wall near your sink. It actually pairs with the toothbrush via bluetooth. When you turn the toothbrush on, the indicator starts counting towards your 2-minute goal. I like this, because without the indicator on the older brush, I never knew how far into my routine I was. An indicator on the gauge not only counts your brush time, but also tells you if you are brushing too hard. If you are brushing too hard, a sad face will appear on the indicator. I was surprised how often this happened -- and it showed me, for the first time, that I was not brushing properly. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was that every 30 seconds, the toothbrush heads would slow down for a split second, to indicate another 30 second cycle had just passed. I don't think it was necessary for Braun to implement this feature. It's not a deal breaker, certainly -- but I do agree with other Amazon reviewers that it can be annoying. At first, the thought of having a phone app for brushing your teeth seemed ludicrous. However, after using the included gauge --- and becoming dependent on it --- I can see how an app would be perfect when traveling. Think about it.....you can leave the gauge at home and use the mobile app instead to show you your progress and indicate when you are not brushing correctly. Now to debunk some prior review myths.... Yes, it is true, it takes a full 24 hours to initially charge this toothbrush. That's kind of crazy. However, I suppose no big deal. Some have said that the charging light is overly bright to the fact that it's almost like having a night light in their bathroom. This is not true. Yes, it has a blinking blue charging light, but in total darkness, it did not become bright enough to be distracting. Yes, it's a little noisy when being used. However, not the point where you are going to wake up everyone in the house. If you are like me and keep the bathroom door closed, nobody is going to be awakened by this toothbrush. The 7000 series is a bit larger and heavier than the older Braun toothbrushes. However, it does seem to be more powerful. I also feel a better clean, overall, using this series over the older model. It comes with, I believe, 3 brush heads. A registration coupon inside offers a $3 savings on replacement heads plus an additional $7 off coupon when you register online. There is a beautiful travel case included. I agree with one reviewer that the travel case might be better if it had air vents. However, if you thoroughly dry your toothbrush prior to putting it in the case, I don't see any problems. Braun has moved from the fully upright charging stand to a flat dock. I like this design. It includes a covered area to store toothbrush heads for members of your family. With the included Amazon clip coupon, I ended up paying about $120 for this toothbrush. It's pricey...yes...but once you start using it with the included gauge, you will look forward to using it every morning.

In a time where many electronics seem built to fail within a couple of years, the Pro 7000 has proven to be a long-lasting investment in my dental health. The cleaning performance has been consistently excellent over the years, and I’ve never had any issues with the motor, battery, or brush head connection. If you're looking for an electric toothbrush that truly lasts and delivers excellent results every single time, I highly recommend the Oral-B Pro 7000. I have owned the Oral B 7000 for a few months now and I can honestly say that I love it. It works great and have not had any problems with it at all. I did a lot of research in decided what electric toothbrush is the best because I have never owned one before. I came down to the Oral B 7000 and the Sonicare Diamond. I decided on the Oral B. This toothbrush is for anyone dedicated to having clean teeth. The Oral B had everything I wanted and more. With 6 different settings it can do just about anything. I only use a few of them on a regular basis but it is always nice to have options. The Bluetooth app is a nice feature to have if you enjoy keeping track of your brushing techniques and it almost makes it a game because you can earn different awards day by day. This would be best for younger kids. The wall mount is nice because it keeps track on how much time you brush to let you know when you have brushed for the proper amount of time. Not a necessity by any means but still a convenient feature. It also comes with a nice travel case for those people who travel a lot. I have read that the battery doesn’t last long, however in my experience that has never been an issue. Just put it back on the charger when you’re done brushing and you won’t have any problem with it. I do not travel often but I have brought it with me on a few short trips and never had an issue with it running out of battery. Now with all the good there is some flaws I would give it. It can be a little bulky and doesn’t really conform to my hand very well. There is nothing on the actual brush that lets you know which setting you are in so if you don’t have the wall mount with you then it is hard to tell what setting you are in. Unless you memorize and remember how many times you hit the setting button this can be a hassle. All in all I give this the 4 stars because it is a great toothbrush with many options. The positives far outweigh the negatives in my opinion. Very well built and extremely easy to clean.

By far best toothbrush I've ever owned. First high end electric one as well. The only ones I've ever used are the cheap ones where you have to change batteries. First time I used it I could feel a huge difference. And see a huge difference. For the first time ever, I could see through the tiny little spaces of my front teeth because they weren't clogged with plaque. I've never been able to do that with a regular toothbrush before. Only the dentist could get them cleaned up that well, and then this toothbrush just came through on my first use just totally brushed it all away. My mouth seriously felt like I had just gone to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and it feels amazing. I don't even brush my teeth with this one anymore. It also has a light on it that will light up red when you are brushing too hard just in case which I've noticed goes off a lot when I'm in a hurry and trying to brush really fast. It's easy to notice. The toothbrush will also decrease the power of the brush when you do brush too hard to help prevent damage to your gums. The travel case it comes with is super nice and sturdy so you don't have to worry about the toothbrush or your brushes getting crushed in your luggage. If you do travel a lot, you'll also be glad to know that the toothbrush last forever on a single charge. I use Crest 3D white toothpaste for about three months with this toothbrush and the result is significantly difference! Not only that I have been brushing smarter, but I also floss every day to maintain my bright smile. Thankfully, this is one of the best investment for my oral health. The instructions say to fully discharge the battery once every six months to help preserve it's longevity and when I did it, it took over two weeks for the battery to die, and I brush twice a day. The brush heads are super durable. They're plenty soft enough so it's not uncomfortable but they also last way longer than a regular toothbrush does. I've been using the same two heads now for eight months and they still look almost brand new. Absolutely no smashed or frayed bristles and they still clean super good. The instructions recommend changing the brush heads every 3-4 months but I don't see why you should when they still look brand new after eight months of use. The only bad thing is that I never really use the bluetooth feature. The app is nice but I don't think very many people will really find it useful or have the dedication to use it consistently every time you brush. Most people don't want to have to whip out their phone and turn on bluetooth then open the app every time they brush their teeth. If Oral-B has a brush that cleans just as well as this one does but without bluetooth for less of the cost, I would have gone with that one. That being said, I'm not sure if they do actually have one that does clean as well as this one, or if they do have one that is just like it but without the bluetooth, but if they do, that would be my recommendation for anyone looking to get one. The bluetooth feature just isn't really all that great. Overall though, it's an awesome product and I'm happy with my purchase.

I have cerebral palsy so a electric tooth bush is a must as manual I miss a lot. This baby cost a lot but it feels like a dental hygienist tool in your mouth. I had a lot of Oral-B brushes under $50 and they never worked this way and my teeth feels so clean. I brought this mainly due to the fact I missed my floss action head which I used on my old one. I believe the floss action is the best head ever made by Oral-B. Due to power issues at my old apartment two of my bases died I believe. Update: I been using this for 4 years and it does a great job. They seem to updated this model because I don't have Bluetooth built in to my 7000. I don't really see the point it better to look at the display that sits by the sink anyway. Daily Clean - This is the first setting and what flashing on the Smart timer which gives you a smiley face if you brush for 2 mins. I used this and it felt like a dentist hygienist tool in my mouth. Like I was laying in a chair having my teeth clean. It felt much different then any other Oral-B I ever used for sure. Whitening - I switch heads to the pro white and again felt the same. I have used this head in the pass and I know it works pretty good. Smart guide or timer I call it flashes each section of a circle. This is suppose to be a outline of your mouth right top / bottom then left top / bottom. The goal is to brush each part for the full time it flashes which is 30 secs. Over all I believe it will take time to get brushing the way the smart guide wants. If you need a new toothbrush this is the one to get. The price is high but I swear my teeth feels like I went to my dentist and had my teeth clean. The black looks slick also and the carry case is awesome. I just notice after 6 days the handle says TRIUMPH Professional Care it on the side sliver part.

There's not much to say that hasn't been covered by other reviews for this product but maybe some input from a long-time Sonicare user would be beneficial. I have the Sonicare Diamond Clean and have used Sonicare for years. I like Sonicare and still use that toothbrush occasionally but I like this Black 7000 more and more each day. I feel like the clean is superior to the Sonicare. As others have stated, the 7000 is a bit rougher on your teeth. If you have a very sensitive mouth, the Sonicare might be a better option; however, sometimes the Sonicare is so gentle that it doesn't remove that harder to clean debris- the 7000 doesn't have that problem. I love the Cross Clean and Floss Action brush heads- definitely my favorite 2. Oral B has a much broader selection of brush heads when compared to Sonicare, which is something that I enjoy. It makes the brush more flexible. The Bluetooth "screen" for the 7000 is a gimmick. It doesn't do anything that a normal toothbrush timer couldn't do. I'd rather have the battery usage savings from removing bluetooth than have the "functionality" of this little display. The battery life on the 7000 seems decent, though not as good as the Sonicare. The brush took almost 30 hours to charge out of the box- it was totally dead on arrival, so a dead to full charge is QUITE long. That being said, it seems to hold a charge well. I recently took the 7000 on a 4 day trip and used it twice a day on the Clean + setting, which is 3 minutes each time. So, over the course of the trip it was being used for 24+ minutes and it still had 2/3 battery bars lit. That seems to be about in line with the advertised battery life. Oral B claims 10 days of usage, 2 minutes twice a day, which equates to about 40 minutes of brushing over 10 days. I believe that is quite accurate, but still well below the Sonicare's 3 weeks of use on a charge. Overall I think that the Oral B Black 7000 gives you the best and most thorough brushing experience available today, slightly edging out the Sonicare. That being said, the Sonicare wins in longevity, comes with a charging case, and charges MUCH faster. If I had to pick between the Sonicare Diamond Clean and the Oral B Black 7000, I'd pick the Black 7000 but you can't go wrong with either.

Took advice from dentist on getting a powered toothbrush, this is one did the trick! After another visit to dentist they said teeth look great. Bought this one over several other powered toothbrushes. PROS: Great brush from trusted brand! Works exactly like I expected, the rechargeable brush just sits in the Stand and recharges easily. Has a case attached to the charger body to store multiple brush heads - perfect if you share with spouse, just grab your brush tip. Timer is excellent - it makes sure you spend enough time on each section of your mouth, ensuring you have an actually effective cleaning. Multiple brush head types offer a customizable experience for your preference. Not loud but not silent. I don't really care how loud it is, it isn't abnormally loud or distracting so long as it cleans my teeth. CONS: Brush tips are expensive and recommended to be replaced every few months. This can add up but it's an investment in dental health. You can easily save money by thoroughly cleaning them and make them last longer than 6 months. Overall, if you're looking to invest in a professional toothbrush to ensure your dentist loves you (and you pay them less through work done), this is a great brush. Since I started using it my biannual cleanings at the dentist always earn me praise at how clean my teeth are - the results are noticeable. I suggest watching some videos online on how to use them since you don't brush the same as a manual/traditional brush.

Love oral-b tooth brushes. The 7000 probably has too many unnecessary features like Bluetooth, and the accessories are not really useful, but it's still the best electric tooth brush you can buy. The charger says 110v but it charges in India (!) not sure if it's going to be a problem

I bought this believing that it is from a reputable brand, so, it would provide long-lasting performance. Unfortunately, after just 3-4 months of use, the battery's condition has deteriorated significantly, almost rendering it useless. The charging process now takes more than 24 hours, and once fully charged, it can only last for 2-3 uses before running out of power again. I had high expectations for this toothbrush, assuming it would be durable and reliable due to its reputed brand. However, the short battery life and extended charging time have been major disappointments. The inconvenience of having to wait an entire day for it to charge and then experiencing it deplete after just a few uses has been frustrating. This experience has left me questioning the quality of products from Oral B.
