THIS WORKS!!!
It really does work!! I have tried every type of treatment out there and my hair is so unresponsive. I've tried relaxers, I've tried perms with big curlers to soften the curl, I even got a brazilian hair treatment in the salon that did NOTHING. And let me tell you, I have very stubborn hair. I have 3B type curls and have always struggled to control it and make it pretty. My hair is coarse and fine and 50% frizz and the curls aren't uniform so it's not a good look. It takes an hour to straighten it and once it's straight it's so stiff that it doesn't look natural. I chose this product because it had such a high rating and because it seemed to be legit. I was very suspicious of all the products I looked at because even though they used so fancy name brand product on my hair at the salon it obviously wasn't strong enough to work on my hair (it did work on my cousin's wavy hair though, and took out almost all the frizz, my hair is just stubborn!!) Also, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something that might not work so I picked this because it was a trial size. I only used about half of it so there's enough left over for another go around, it's awesome! I didn't even follow the directions and it still worked wonderfully. Let me tell you what I did: I didn't use a clarifying shampoo because I didn't want to go buy one, I just washed my hair really thoroughly and scrubbed at my scalp really good to clear away any dead skin or product. Then I rinsed my hair really well to best get rid of any soap residue. I blew it dry (a terrifying sight for my fiance!) and started to apply the product. WHEW the chemicals are strong. I would recommend doing it in a well ventilated room if at all possible because I kept having to stick my head out of the bathroom so my eyes would stop burning. I was not delicate about the application, I ended up putting too much in and my hair was def over-saturated but that's what I wanted! I let it sit in my hair for thirty minutes while I surfed the internet. I then took a fine comb and combed through my whole head getting rid of the excess product. The directions say to immediately start straightening on soaking wet hair and to me that just felt wrong and like I was going to burn my hair. So what I actually did was blow my hair dry again and THEN I straightened it. I took extra time on each section to make sure I sealed the product into my hair. It probably took an hour but obviously it was worth it. Then the gross part is that your hair is stiff and sort of greasy from the product and you can't do anything about it. You're not supposed to pull your hair back, you just have to leave it straight and down and looking yucky. The directions said to leave it in for 72 hours for very curly hair, but I had to shower after 24 hours because I had to go to work. So for the first three days I didn't shampoo it, just rinsed it and used a little conditioner, which I hardly even needed cause it worked so well. My roots are straight which is a HUGE deal as that is usually the curliest part of my hair. There is still a good amount of curl to it (because the directions say "for very curly hair leave product in for 72 hours" and I only left it in for 24 hours) at the bottom but it's pretty and manageable. The biggest difference is that there is practically ZERO frizz and the hair is SO soft. It actually looks so much healthier than before I did the treatment. I'M SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS! As I have half the bottle left, I will probably try again in 3 months or so and I will leave it in for longer to see if that affects the curl. I really don't feel comfortable with flat ironing soaking wet hair like the instructions tell you to but maybe someone else can let me know how it went for them and I will give it a try. I really think if I had followed the instructions to a t that my hair would have come out beautiful and straight. No regrets, I still love the results!

Love the End Result
I am not much for writing reviews, but since I rely on reviews when I am trying to decide whether to buy something or not, I thought I would provide my experience with this product which I used for the first time today. Now, my hair is frizzy, kinky curly and definitely hard to management, especially in Florida's heat and humidity. I think in my life time (I'm 56) I have had more bad hair days than good. So, I am no stranger to methods of straightening my hair. I had my first keratin treatment several years ago and before that I had the Japanese Hair Straightening which has its own drawbacks, but shelling out $250 or more on any regular basis is just not in the budget. Previously, I was using Bio Ionic Agave Smoothing System. It is the same process, washing with clarifying shampoo, blow drying hair, putting on the treatment, leaving it on for 30 minutes, blow drying it in, and then flat ironing it. Then you need to let the hair cool for about 20 minutes, and then you need to shampoo hair again (with a sulfate free shampoo), condition and blow dry and flat iron hair again. Plus, if you had hair color in your hair, this product does lighten it quite a bit, and if you wanted to color your hair you have to do it right after the last step, otherwise you needed to wait a week. Needless to say I would spend a lot of time doing this, and the end result was just okay. The Agave product had a caramel scent to it, and you did not need a mask while applying it or anything, but the scent kind of stayed with you and that part I did not like. So, after using the Agave for over 3 years I wanted to try something else. So, I started to look for another product and of course I came to Amazon to start my search. After reading the other reviews, I decided to give this a try. I was a little nervous at first because I think this product is stronger than what I was using previously. I read where people wrote that it made their eyes water and to make sure to do this procedure in a well ventilated area. The problem is that I live in a really small apartment that does not have good air flow. I turned on all the ceiling fans and the bathroom fan along with a stand up fan that I had. When I needed to blow dry the product into my hair, I sat by the sliding glass door with the fan blowing on me so the fumes would go outside. This product did make my eyes water and I am not used to wearing a face mask, so I did have a little bit of a problem with that, but I was able to get through it rather quickly. When it was time to flat iron my hair, I did it by the door as well and overall there did not seem to be a lot of fumes. I am not sure if this was because I was mindful of the amount of the product I had put in my hair, or I just did not notice it. I bought the smaller bottle (4 ounces) just in case I did not like it, and only used 2 ounces for my shoulder length hair. The first thing I really loved about this product is that it did not strip my hair color so compared to the product I was using previously. Since the it had extra steps that needed to be done, I would easily spend 4 hours with the whole process. With this keratin treatment, it took me only about 2 hours. This product left my hair really smooth, and I have not noticed any type of scent. I liked the idea that I could wash it relatively quickly after the treatment, and I thought that I would be washing my tomorrow, but I did not feel that it will be necessary. The only thing I would suggest is that if you have never had a keratin treatment before and want to try doing one on your own, to have someone with you to help you with the process.

Worth the effort.
This product works great to eliminate frizzy hair. My hair type is 3b, left on for a little over 24 hours. Frizz gone. Easy to blow dry and straighten. Or let it dry and have soft curls. The smell is strong. Use a fan to blow the smell away from your face. Worth the price verses $300 for keratin treatment or Brazilian blowout. Lasts about 3 months, washing 2-3 times a week. Good luck!

Smooth and shiny results
Leaves hair soft, smooth, and much less frizzy. Easy to apply and gives a noticeable shine after use. Great option for at-home keratin treatment.

It will be different for every hair type - but it works great for me!
This stuff gets the job done for the price. But of course how it works for you will depend on a variety of factors. Hair type/thickness/application/shampoo frequency. I have ~2a hair that is pretty thin but textured. This results in my natural air-dried hair with an under side of lose beachy waves, and a top layer of straight frizz. It can be tamed with some sea salt spray, but it's not the most polished look. Thus, my usual routine involves an hour of blow drying, flat ironing, curling etc. to tame. But if there is humidity all that work is wasted and the frizz comes. On other days I avoid the shower like the plague as to not have to wet my hair and go through the same lengthy process again. I have gotten the Brazilian Blowout previously, which I remember being great, but I'm not in the financial position to spend $200-300 on my hair right now. Here is my review of this product: Application: There is a reason a keratin treatment is costly at the salon. This thing takes labor! I have long hair that is relatively thin, and it took me a total 5 hours to go through the process. If you have a friend willing to help you (for free) you are very lucky. That being said, the 5 hours spent were worth the hours over the past few months that I have not spent doing my hair. I suggest wearing a respirator mask as much as you can during the process. There will be fumes when the product is burning off. You will be fine. Just don't be stupid and inhale them. Results: The results are immediate. My hair was pretty much pin straight. I could let my hair air dry without looking like Hermione Granger. That being said, there are pros and cons. Pro: I could air dry my hair and get ready quickly. I didn't need to worry about humidity frizzing me out. Cons: Because my hair is thin, I lost volume and texture (obviously). It was more difficult to curl/put in a bun. You just can't have it both ways (unless you are one of those genetic freaks with perfect hair). Time period: How long the treatment last will depend on your own hair. Because my hair is thin, I had to wash it more than I usually do because grease would build up faster than it would with my normal texture. Washing your hair more will effect how long the product stays in your hair. I've also colored my hair twice since applying the product. That being said, I am over 3 months in and my hair is still fairly straight and frizz free. I would have to say that I preferred my hair the most in the 2nd month. This is when my hair started to get a bit more texture back. I could certainly air dry it, but it would also hold up a curl and style well. Over 3 months in, I am getting to a point where air drying is not an option, but a quick 10 min blow dry still makes it very straight and smooth. Overall I will definitely plan to use this product again simply because of how much time it saves me. Also - I agree with another reviewer that planning a hair cut after use is a good idea because it tends to dry out your ends.

Best hair purchase I've ever made!
I have hair down past my bra clasp, a majority 3B curls with some 2A randomly mixed in and I hate it because my curls are really disorganized. I have straightened it basically every day since I was young, which is about an hour of blow drying followed up with a straightener. Huge pain in the butt time-waster. Due to a sharp increase in workload this semester, I decided I needed a more permanent solution because still I need to look professional at work. I can't look like I've just given up, people! Anyway, I researched keratin treatments (all summer ya'll, all summer) and purchased the 120 ml bottle after reading all the reviews. After doing the treatment, I shampooed with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and decided to test it out by just letting it air dry (I've always dreamed of doing this). I AM AMAZED! My hair is silky smooth and completely straight! Zero effort required! I literally wanted to cry tears of joy. It's been a couple of weeks and it is still perfect so I have hopes that this will last for the 3 months. For anyone interested, I did not have the patience to follow all of the directions and instead did what was recommended by another reviewer (slightly modified for laziness/impatience): 1. Shampooed (X2) with my dish soap to get all the oil and product out. I didn't feel like ordering a clarifying shampoo, ain't nobody got time for that. No conditioner or products after clarifying. 2. Comb (carefully!) with wide-tooth comb. Let hair air dry. Yeah it looked crazy. 3. A few hours later I applied the treatment all over with a dye brush and combed out the excess. I've been dyeing my hair at home for years but if you don't have practice with that you may want a friend to help that you don't mind seeing you topless. Or wear a towel. Whatever. 4. Blow dry completely. Your hair is gonna feel really bad at this point. Power through. 5. Make sure it is COMPLETELY dry and then flat iron it like you've never flat-ironed before. Go to town, get the roots, make several passes, use a comb, be serious. Torture your hair because it is the LAST time you're going to have to for a very long time (yay!). 6. I think I sat around for like an hour before I finally said forget it, there's no reason to wait, I've heat sealed this stuff and my head has cooled off. Look, I have really nice sheets and I couldn't fathom sleeping with a towel on my head to protect them, ok? Stop judging me. 7. Shampooed and conditioned with sulfate free and Voila! You already read the amazing results. This product is a godsend and I will be ordering it for the rest of my life. One drawback (not the product's fault) that I hadn't thought about it that if I let it air dry, it's pretty flat. I'm not complaining because straight is what I wanted and I can still put any kind of curl in it with a curling iron. However, I have started hitting my roots with a blow dryer for some volume and it works perfectly and takes maybe 5 minutes. Then let the rest air dry. BOOM, this stuff is gold. I just threw out tons and tons of hair products and cleared off my bathroom sink. There's so much room for activities now! Glorious. **UPDATE: I did this treatment in late Aug 2017. It is now the middle of January 2018 and I am about to do another treatment because my roots have grown out quite a bit and are starting to get wavy. It lasted over 4.5 months perfectly. Highly recommend this product.

Results were just what I was looking for!
This treatment worked exactly how I wanted it to and I’m very impressed with the results. I would definitely say the process is pretty challenging because the fumes released by the product itself are really strong and apparently very bad for you so I would definitely recommend doing the treatment Nearby an open window. I did it beside an open screen door in my basement. Also, don’t do it in an area that your family will be in often because it leaves a fog of smoke in the area until it is well ventilated so I did this in my basement beside my screen patio door with it open And had to step outside multiple times throughout the process and then left the screen door open overnight to let the area clear and it was fine by the morning, make sure fog doesn’t go through your whole house because it is hazardous to be in injesting for a long period of time. Before: I had tight for a 3C curls which were very pretty but very hard to manage. I’ll get compliments on my hair a lot, but I didn’t really like the state especially going into summer because it was hard to manage as I said, I would have to put a lot of product in it and wash my hair almost every day I wouldn’t be able to sleep on it or I would wake up and it would look very bad so I would have to Basically wash my hair every day to make it look good and if my hair got wet, it would frizz up a lot, especially in her humidity so I wanted to do this treatment for the summertime so I could feel comfortable wearing my hair down without having to worry about it frizzing up, especially going into pools or into the lake at my cottage and not having to straighten it or put it in braids After: the treatment left me with waves or loose curls, which is what I desired, and when I got out of the shower, it was much much less frizzy than it typically is when I get out all I had to put in was some light products. I was a bit concerned because when I brushed my hair and didn’t go into curls like it typically does. It just went straight, but as long as you scrunch in all the products that you use it leaves your hair like how the after picture is. I wore it to a festival down last night and it looked at the whole time I slept on it and I woke up and it still looks good. The photos from after I woke up. I would definitely say the straightening was pretty much the same as it normally is, but I washed out the product 12 hours after straightening I put around 7 to 10 passes on each section And blow dried it with my revlon blow dryer and so yeah, I left it in overnight and for a couple hours, so 12 hours in total and then washed it out and I really enjoyed the results. I would recommend for girls with curly hair that want it to be more manageable and just know that it won’t leave your hair permanently straight and the treatment only lasts for 3 to 4 months, which is perfect for me And it might not be ideal for you so don’t go in to the treatment expecting to leave you with permanently straight hair because that’s not what it does.

Great Product !!
Ive ordered this product twice now and I love the results - the instructions are so detailed and explain everything. This product has made my hair grow sooooo long and the straightening/ smoothing is one of the best outcomes. only downside is that when im straightening my hair my hair is super sticky and oily feeling - not sure if this is because i use too much product but i have to wash my hair before I go out in public after the treatment. Also the fumes are pretty strong, makes your eyes water and hard to breathe ( probably not good for your health) but i just opened a window and it helped with the burning. Small price to pay for amazing hair - i never thought my hair would ever be this full, long and thick - highly recommend this product. My natural hair was wavey/ frizzy and if I let dry naturally I had soft curls.
