Have just received this everything works well including the phone charger. Radio works well and the speakers are giving a good volume.The design is light weight and should be easy to have in your pocket. Ideal for emergency use.

simple wind up radio. just incase of power cut we can hear whats going on. not had to sue it yet, but playing around with it it seems like it will work well and the crank charges fine

Not for everyday use but excellent as a backup. Surprisingly small but seems very robust, including winding handle. Solar panel charges in overcast conditions, crank easy to use. Has a loud personal alarm and torch with a rather weak, diffuse light, but who doesn't have a decent torch? Plenty of FM stations with strong signal, AM only seems to have 5 Live, which is all I need. Sound a bit tinny, especially for music but, as I said, it's not for everyday use. The USB charging is my favourite featue, charging faster than my PC, 7% in 30 minutes! Overall very pleased

So many features in one small device. Smaller than I expected, but my fault for not checking. Nifty little things, so I'll find plenty of uses for them.

The reviews were very good so my expectations were high. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. My husband and I were so delighted when this arrived. The radio is crystal clear in a remote area where we struggle to get a decent sound from our home radio. It charged up very quickly, the light is bright and siren works well. I haven’t tried to charge my phone up with it yet so that’s on the list to do. I would’ve loved this as a girl guide!

Slightly smaller than I’d envisaged, but that’s a good thing. Comes with instruction leaflet and usb power cable. It has a nice soft feel which seems like it would be resistant to scratches. The device was already powered up, so I was able to put the radio on and start listening straight away. I popped it on the windowsill so it could use solar power at the same time. It was nice to have it playing while tidying the house -and know that it’s not using any electricity. It will be perfect for taking on holiday, specifically next time I go to India, where I stay the power often drops out. Knowing I have a torch, radio and option to charge my phone is brilliant. I will see if it’s still going well after a year and if so I’ll buy more to take for my friends in India.Edit: I can’t charge my phone off it. I’ve tried several times. No idea why.

My wife wanted a radio that didn't rely on batteries or mains power due to the recent news reports of power cuts. The sound is amazing considering the size. The ease of use with excellent battery life makes this a must in any household. The radio also has flashing lights and alarm, sos. To power this little gem you simply wind it up or set it in the sun as it has a solar panel or charge through usb port. My wife shows everyone who comes round and is over the moon with it. In conclusion, if you want sound quality, ease of use, quality radio, superb battery life, compact size with convenient charging capabilities then look no further than this little dynamo

Was very pleased to start with but after a few weeks the wind up function barely lasts 5 minutes and the thing seems to be ticking on and off constantly!
