Good quality, but I still take issue with how some supposedly premium French, Spanish and Portuguese processors clean their fish. Most just chop off the head and scoop out the innards. I think that adding a belly slit allows for a much cleaner and cleaner tasting product. Do better Europe. Otherwise good firm meaty fleshed small fish. Olive oil good but nothing special.Find myself wanting to like these more than I actually do.

Ortiz! I'm a fan for life!
These are the best sardines I've ever eaten! I've tried sooo many different brands and flavors, and Ortiz is hands down, the best! The quality of the fish and oil makes such a difference! Although pricey, you get what you pay for with this one!

In our opinion these are the best sardines in olive oil on the market and worth every penny of the price. Every tin we have purchased has been great. The fish are also a decent size. We discovered this product some time ago but they have been difficult to find in supermarkets in recent times. I am very pleased to find them now on Amazon.
