Great guide and i like it
This is a great guide i am reading this because i am take some security classes and things in this book go hand and hand with the class and it has opened my eyes to things that i over look on my own systems

I purchased this for my 11yr old daughter who is into computer technology and always wants to know more about computers. She kinda grumbled when she received it, but I am already seeing results that she is reading and understanding it. I believe this is a great book if you want to know the ins and outs of computer programming.

I'm still going through it but so far it is fascinating information, and there is so much more to hacking than i ever dreamed...anyone who is interested in computers and how they work should have a look at this book..it will really wake you up...

Excellent book for getting started; As a "Senior Citizen" much of modern technology has eluded me; but, not with this book to help me.

Great book!
This is a great book if you want to protect your system from hackers or learn more about the topic but a basic knowledge about computers is needed to fully understand everything covered in this book so I'd recommend a different book if you don't know the basics about computers. But apart from that this book is very informative and well written.

Sehr gut für Anfänger und Erfahrene "Hacker"
Dieses Buch erbringt die erforderlichen Grundkompetenzen im Hacking. Es ist eigentlich nur für Anfänger, aber ich kann es auch für Experten empfehlen, die ihre Kenntnisse auffrischen wollen. Die Lieferung hat sehr kurz gedauert. ( 3 Tage) Schlussfolgerung: Das Buch gibt dir die Grundkompetenzen im Networking und verschiedene andere Grundkenntnisse, die man für das professionelle Hacking braucht. Ich kann das Buch an jeden Empfehlen, der sich in dem Bereich Hacking interessiert.

Review on Hacking for Dummies by by Kevin Beaver.
Indeed this book has been pricey but worth the extra advice to play smarter to be safe and sound. We take all the precautions to secure our cars and homes as well as many other possessions but many take the security of the computers for granted when the Hackers are invisibly hacking to destroy our livelihood and retirement as well as our precious IDS. Many of us are unaware of the silent manner in which the destructive forces are at work behind the scenes with their immoral and unlawful invasions to cause pain and sufferings. Cyber crimes cost all of us by the millions which can also be diverted to combat poverty and other social programs and for educational purposes to benefit us all. It is also hard to teach new tricks as old habits die hard. Thus this edition of Hacking does all to prepare us all to understand the approaches followed by the cyber criminals and then only we can implement the actions to end or at least minimize the terrorism.
