XyliMelts OraCoat Dry Mouth, Mild-Mint, 40 Melts

I have tried several different remedies for night time dry mouth: Biotene mouth wash, BIotene gel, TheraBreath dry mouth lozenges. All of those worked somewhat well, but only for a couple of hours--certainly not enough for all night. The Xylimelts do the trick. They adhere very well and once positioned are stuck for hours. I don't really like something sticking to my teeth--am still adjusting to the feel of that--but the effectiveness is worth the discomfort of having the disc pushing on my gums. The instructions say to place one disc on the upper back tooth, and one on the lower back tooth, opposite side. I find that one disc alone is sufficient for me. I move it around from night to night as it seems to bother the inside of my mouth where it's in contact with the disc. When I say "bother" I mean I notice a slight roughness, but it is not severe and alternating positions seems to take care of the problem.

I have used these for several months now at night and I noticed an immediate difference. This is just me but they really help with my snoring. The mild mint is very mild and I sleep so much better and don't wake up with a dry scratchy throat. I was skeptical at first and thought I might swallow them whole but that's not the case. Great product. When I run out I wake up with a very dry scratchy and sometime sore throat.

I am a Cpap user and I would wake up with dry mouth and sore front teeth. A trip to my dentist ruled out any dental issues. I tried the Xylimelts on a whim and was amazed how well they work. I stick one to the roof of my mouth (they stay in place really well and without irritation) before bedtime and put on my CPAP mask. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with dry mouth or inflamed gums in the front of my mouth. This is an excellent product. I haven't experienced any side effects from using this product. I highly recommend Xylimelts to friends and family.

I use dry mouth lozenges for Sjogrens and like to try new products. This sounded like something that might last a bit longer than others that melt like candy. While it does last longer, it doesn't coat the mouth as well. Does have a mild mint taste.

Even with the humidifier, my lips were drying out from my CPAP. I'd heard about Xylimelts, and decided to give them a try. Glad I did! They do a much better job than the humidifier at keeping my lips moistened, and they have a very pleasant taste. The adhesion of the tablets could be a bit better, though. Also, they don't last long enough. Only 4-6 hours, not all night. WORD OF CAUTION: Keep these away from your pets! These tablets contain xylitol which is HIGHLY TOXIC to dogs! As for cats, I've read conflicting statements on xylitol's toxicity to felines, so keep these tablets out of reach of your kitties, too, just to be safe.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer, and extreme dry mouth is one of the many side effects from my Chemo Treatments. My dentist recommended this product and I am so happy he did. Xylimelts is the most effective over-the-counter mint/pill I have ever used. I just love how quickly and effective it works. You can even sleep with one in your mouth and not worry about choking due to the adhesive on the mint. That is just crazy idea, but it works! I told my oncologist and nurse about this product, and hopefully, they will tell other patients so they can benefit from using it, like I have. I ordered the Mild Mint flavor, and even though I am not a big fan of Mint, I find the flavor rather pleasing.

Everyone taking meds, cancer treatment or Sjogrens can appreciate these "long lasting" mints that keep your mouth and throat from desert like conditions. I could deduct a star for not lasting as long as I'd like but I haven't found a product that does better. They have a very good adhesive that clings wherever you initially hold it. Feel comfortable going to sleep with them in my mouth.

I have used Xylimelts for a few months now. I get a very dry mouth due to the medications I take, which gives me lots of cavities. I have literally tried every other moisturizing product on the market and the Xylimelts is the only product which has helped with my dry mouth. Sometimes I have to put two discs in, while exercising, etc., and they stick so well I have no hesitation with sleeping in them. I can drink various fluids while using them and they still stick. The mint taste dominated everything in the beginning, but I like it now. I haven’t seen my dentist yet, but I hope I have fewer cavities as it claims to be able to help with. I will be using this on a continuous basis - no second thoughts.

Dans la journée, je ressens moins le besoin d'en prendre. Cela a goût de menthe, mais pas trop, et s'il faut en croire la notice, c'est fait de composants naturels.
