I had 60 lb struts for my back queen bed, and the bed mattress over time would not stay up when storing items under the bed area. I weighed the mattress and plywood end with a baggage scale and it measured at 65 lbs. I took a chance and ordered the 80 lb size with the same 20 inch stroke. Installing the two new struts was a breeze (good instructions were included), and the bed mattress and plywood now lift with ease, stay up and collapse perfectly in the closed position. Very pleased.

As expected. Don't know how long they will last as they are not installed yet.
