does this product provide a good glide for DE shaving?

I personally use a DE razor and this the best product I have found by far. It will leave the shaved area much closer than an electric razor

Can this work with a philips norelco multigroom series 3100 or norelco pt720?

Is this product supposed to have a smell? Just used this and it has a "medicated" type of smell (similar to medicated shampoo). Just curious.

It does have a little bit of a medicated smell when using it but after you wash it off you cannot smell it.
