It's a great ruler. No real issues except the black edge wasn't in the box. I contacted the seller and they shipped one to me no questions. Good customer service.

I love this ruler. Long enough to cut fabric without having to move it. Also like the clip that stabilized the direction of the rule with the cutting mat, so that cuts are square and straight. Wish it could be hung when not using.

You're so worse and quilters will know how frustrated is to have a ruler that's not long enough you have to keep moving the ruler from one side to the other to cut a long strip . The only problem was when I decided to get one everybody else had the same idea they're sold out everywhere Amazon's the only one that has them and they were perfectly they were a little bit pricey but not bad. Perfect for what I needed the size is great you can see through it accurate long strip cuts finally. Yes it is very easy to use and accurate

It’s very nice and I like the little lip on the edge to hold it in place ,but it’s so long I’m wondering if I’m going to use it as much as I think because it’s so long.

Nice ruler stays in place with the added lip. Would recommend and definitely purchase again.

Received in large box with nothing but a ruler with a chipped corner and without lip that is reason it’s called omniEDGE. Also did not feel at all non-slip. Returning.

As a quilter, sometimes I need to cut multiple layers, in the width of the fabric. So far I moved my regular ruler, and where it did not reach, iI added a second ruler. Unfortunately, one or the other at times slipped. Bummer! There goes my fabric. With this ruler I can cut without moving anything, and the removable lip at one end keeps the edges at bay. If I think of all the time I wasted moving rulers ... The price is competitive, when compared with the MRP of regular rulers. I am saving much time and expensive fabric. I put invisible grip on the underside and made a 2 lbs. fabric sandbag to position 2/3 way up, just in case Mr. Murphy shows up. The ruler doesn't need it. The pouch is easy to make, just put the sand in a sealable bag, then in the fabric pouch. And don't use it as a pincushion. :-) it is very fine sand.

Really like this ruler. Was packaged well. Not missing the end piece as some reviews have complained. Ruler looks good. Measurements are same as my grid on Fiskar mat although when using the end piece it won’t line up perfectly with the lines that are perpendicular, as the end piece will put that out of line but it lines up with parallel lines which is what I need for cutting bargello strips. Without the end piece you can get that to line up as well if needed. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is that I will have to add some grippers on the back to make it a bit less slippery but I knew that when ordering, especially with this length of ruler. I do put weights on top of my ruler as well when cutting a long length to stabilize the ruler as well. Better safe than sorry.

I ordered the 36” Omniedge ruler twice. The first one arrived in ripped wrap that has been taped back on. The edge was missing, the ruler was scratched, and it had a significant crack in it from one of the corners (pics 1-3). I opted for a replacement, which also arrived in ripped wrap, again with the missing edge, scuffs/scratches, and a chip in one of the corners (pics 4-5). A chipped/cracked straightedge is largely useless for its intended purpose.

Disappointed that this came without the advertised lip
