Nice gloves, seem well made, perfect for sold weather paddling. One issue: they fit on the small side. Neoprene gloves should fit relatively tight but these are really tight. I'm a smallish guy with "average" size hands. I wear a large in a ski glove or work glove so I ordered large in these neoprene gloves and I can say that they JUST fit, quite tight, probably loosen up a bit when wet so I'm not returning. If you are a bigger person with larger hands large will be too small. Update: used them on a cold weather canoe trip, not very warm, very slippery not appropriate for paddling

I've never liked gloves; I'd rather be cold than lose dexterity. But they were required for a cleanup dive I did, so I went looking for the thinnest pair I could get and settled on these. They are actually really comfortable; the seams are small and in a good place to allow me to pick up small objects without fumbling. And even though they're thin, they're much warmer than nothing. I've started wearing these on all my dives. The contrast color also makes hand signals easy for my buddy to read. I have big hands (see photo), and the Large fit well. I just wish I'd only bought that size instead of getting the medium too based on reviews that said they run large; I had to pay for return shipping which was more than half the cost of the gloves. Update: I just ordered my third pair. The first lasted about 3 months, which included about 30 dives, before coming apart at one seam. They were still pretty serviceable and I probably could have fixed them, but at $10 a pair I decided to just replace them. The second pair has lasted almost a year, about 75 dives, and is looking a bit pilled and ragged in addition to coming apart at one seam. So they're not the most durable thing I've ever bought, but given the price I'm still OK with that. I still find them to be surprisingly effective without getting in my way.

I have relatively small hands for a man. Not "tiny hands" but far from the sausage fingers of some guys, and not terribly long fingers. Average maybe. I bought the Small, Medium, and Large sizes of these gloves to make sure one pair fit me, and one fit my lady. They run... small. I can just barely fit my hands in the large. She can barely fit her hands in the medium. I'm not sure what wears a small. Child sized? The gloves themselves are reasonably good protection from the sun, which is all I was after. But order larger than you think you need.

was used in jamaica to pull up some big conch shells, easy to use and keep my hands from getting cut up.
