Coty Vanilla Musk for Women Cologne Spray, 1 Fl Oz

This scent is so painfully nostalgic, and for some reason, reminds me of the early 2000s. I do not know if it is because it somewhat resembles Body Fantasies white musk, or some popular vanilla based fragrances at the time. Either way, I am completely enamored with this fragrance. It definitely lasts longer if you spray it on your clothes and settles down nicely this way too. I smell a true sweet vanilla, definitely leaning more gourmand than what I was reading in any of the other reviews across the Internet . It is then followed by a soft spiciness and a really nice clean cedar note. As the hours linger on, it settles into that more powdery vanilla musk that is frequently described. It is a surprisingly beautiful scent for the price point and the bit that I have sprayed on my clothes has lasted into the next day. I would recommend this as a scent you wear either on its own or layered with other similar scents like a white musk or something “your skin, but better” (Juliette has a gun -not a perfume, Glossier You, Clean Classic- Skin, etc) When on the skin, it does not last anywhere near as long as clothes, I would say on my skin it lasted a few hours, but again spraying it on clothes it would complement another perfume beautifully for an entire day. My bottle arrived unbroken and not leaking. It was packed securely with bubble wrap. It is a very pretty classy bottle. I only wish that the manufacturing information was not stamped across the front as it takes away from some of the elegance.

This smells so good!! It’s the authentic fragrance. Nice bottle, great value. It was packaged well and in great condition! I was looking for a fragrance to go with my Bath & Body Works Vanilla Musk body spray and lotion. They smell wonderful and this fragrance will layer with them perfectly! This fragrance lasted for hours!

I bought this perfume because I am in love with the Bare Vanilla Body Spray by VS as a layering scent and wanted something with more longevity. I saw online that this had vanilla and some woody notes so I thought it might be a dupe. But, it is way too woody. It smells like slight vanilla overwhelmed by the smell of vintage wooden furniture; I imagine this on an older woman but, even then, there are nicer, more classy options out there. It is NOT a returnable product, so keep this in mind if blind buying. I know it is difficult to take people's scent advice if you don't know their tastes so here are some popular perfumes that I love (if you have similar preferences, I would assume you also won't enjoy this perfume): Cloud by Ariana Grande, Good Girl by CH, Libre by YSL, Daisy Love Eu So Sweet by MJ, and Bright Crystal by Versace. I like fresh scents, cashmeran, and even musky scents, combined with sweetness and a little depth. This perfume is simply not my cup of tea and I do not think would be a good blind buy for a young adult- stick to something simpler and sweeter. Hope this helps someone!
