I use it for a variety of kitchen cooking functions, including for measuring the temperature of oil as it is heating up. It doesn't make annoying beeping sounds like some others do and it takes a reading fairly quickly. And when done, just fold the probe and stick it on your fridge. What could be easier?

This is my second time buying it , I love it . It's durable , gives instant readings and the numbers are big and easy to read.

No issues great item - does the job

It works quite well. I am not sure how accurate it is, but it is fast and seems accurate. The only issue is that it does not hold the reading temperature. So, you need to read it as it is contacting the subject and measuring the temperature. Sometimes, it is difficult to look at the small screen when the device is reading the temperature (hard to reach situations). That is the only drawback so far.

The pen is very accurate, My cooking has dramatically improved now that I can measure precise temperatures.However, what will keep me buying from this brand is their after sales service. The first one failed a few days after it came; It was replaced. No questions asked.About a year later, the second one began to show erratic temperatures. They only asked for a photo and replaced it again.I have signed up for the three-year warranty also.Look at it this way. It's more expensive, but the cheap one will fail a few months later. This one will last you years. If it fails during the warranty period they will replace it. Go for it.

This is a very good thermometer for the price. It works exactly as intended and gives fast, reliable readings. I’ve compared it side by side with my Thermapen ONE, and while it’s not quite in the same league, the accuracy is surprisingly close and more than good enough for everyday use.I mainly use this one at work during staff BBQs at the factory, especially when cooking chicken. It gives me confidence that the food is properly cooked and safe to serve, which is important as undercooked chicken can be a serious health risk. The backlit display is handy, and the pop-up probe design makes it quick and easy to use.Overall, it’s excellent value for money, reliable, and accurate enough for grilling, BBQs, and general kitchen use. Very happy with it.
