Review: Great!! - Very good book and it arrived in great condition Review: I love it!! - The book is very nice and good to me, the words are understandable and clear, the only thing that I noticed is the "we were liars" title on the book was purple, but that didnt bothered me ofcourse, other than that it's a good book with a twist ending!

Average
Did not quite appreciate the author's style of literary prose. I felt it was overrated. It was originally intended for my 15 year old but felt the writing style would not appeal to a growing teenager.

No spoilers! Highly recommend!
I’m at a loss for words... I love it. Even though it broke me and tore me apart limb for limb, I still love it. The twist is shocking. I highly recommend this book. And I recommend not listening to that urge telling you to spoil the book, because trust me you do want that to happen. And don’t go in with any expectations, it will be more enjoyable. 😊

A story that feels warm and golden until one quiet moment changes everything you believed
Talking about We Were Liars without ruining it feels almost impossible, because the book works like a quiet spell. E. Lockhart doesn’t try to overwhelm you with complexity. Instead she writes with a strange, delicate honesty that makes the story feel personal, almost like someone sitting across from you and slowly telling a painful memory. What pulls you in first is the atmosphere. Sunlit beaches, old family houses, long summer days that seem to stretch forever. It feels warm, nostalgic, almost comforting. Lockhart paints these scenes so vividly that you can practically feel the salt air and the lazy rhythm of those summers. But beneath that brightness there is something uneasy, like a crack in a beautiful photograph. The characters feel painfully real in the way only teenage friendships can feel real. Intense. Loyal. A little reckless. The kind of bonds that make you believe the world is smaller and simpler than it actually is. Lockhart captures that fragile stage of life when emotions are enormous and every moment feels like it matters forever. What makes the book so compelling is how gently it unfolds. It never rushes or shouts for attention. The story slowly draws you deeper until you realize you are no longer just reading it, you are trying to understand it. Trying to piece together the emotions, the memories, the strange gaps that keep appearing between the lines. And when you reach the end, the feeling is unforgettable. Not because the book is loud or shocking, but because it lands with the quiet force of a realization you did not see coming. It is the kind of novel you finish and then sit with for a while, staring at the last page, realizing you wish someone had told you to read it sooner.
