ABSOLUTELY love our BLINK CAMERA!! It was very easy to install a subscription to this blink. Camera is very very reasonable. Only $10 a month for extended warranties and a host of other items for the subscription, but the camera itself has provided us with a sense of security and it’s so simple to use, and it was the best decision and money we have ever spent for our home We highly recommend the blink security system. You will not be disappointed. The video is very crystal queer. It monitors a very good area and again the sense of security you feel having this camera is wonderful and it’s so easy to operate. We can see it from our phones anytime. Please get this. You will not be disappointed and you will rest better knowing that your home is secure.

Great camera mount

Definitely an upgrade to the holders that came with the cameras. Easy to mount. Better quality. Easy to move camera around. Very functional.

Decent product for what you spend. The Blink Outdoor cameras are fairly easy to set up. Good WiFi connection and a decent router and the camera range is pretty good. I have several of these set up around a second home for security and they do the job. Nice to monitor from far away and keep an eye on your property. The one down point is the motion trigger range, not very good. I would estimate less then 25' feet. Something has to be really close to trigger the camera. You can keep the camera lower to help with this, but then the camera becomes an easy target for someone to steal. To set off the motion with high sensitivity is good, to the point birds and animals can trigger it, but one can reduce the sensitivity to limit this. The microphone is a nice feature and you can hear sound quite well and you can talk fairly easily through the camera. Again, positioning of the camera is very important. Do not set it up to high where it will limit the range and also spend some time thinking about the best position to mount the camera where you would believe someone might stand or pass by long enough for the camera to see them. If not, the camera will trigger but you might only see a portion of what set it off or nothing at all. Also, I mounted several cameras from different angles to catch the same area. This way I have a much better chance of seeing what's going on. More expensive, but one way to monitor the area better. Also, the live feature is nice. The camera has a large viewing area and if you use the live feature you can record it while watching a much bigger area. So, if the camera is triggered one can go to the live view and watch a larger area especially if you have multiple cameras set up. The clarity is ok, but I've found it hard to read vehicle license plates even at close range even when zooming in.

This is a great system. It is easy to install, easy to connect and easy to access. The few times I have needed help I have gotten a quick response from a Blink representative. We have Blink set up at two homes, and it is great to be able to check on activity/weather at either home, especially when we are away.

Must have security system. No need for wires. Completely wireless. You must have wifi. Batteries will last 2 years.

I have been using this product for about 5 years now, I live in Alaska where the temperature goes from -60 to +90 degrees and they keep on going, the temperature setting kind of goes wacko after -30 but so does everything 😂😂. You can expect two years on 2 AA batteries. Set up is easy and they work better than my Vivent system. 😎

Typical interaction with system. Camera goes offline. Go get camera or doorbell off house - ladder, maybe some tools. Disassemble camera - find the manual because it’s not straightforward to figure out where and how to press the housing to get it off, and you’ll need the odd looking tool that came with it to get the back off. Go to the app and add camera - dig through the menus, but then realize there is a plus sign back on the home screen, no scanning the qr code inside the camera wont take you to the app to install it. Go thru the connection process and wait for it to connect, it takes forever, so probably abandon it and come back later. Says can’t connect. Try again? Says it’s already in the system. Is it blinking? No. Take out batteries and put them in again. Try adding again. Says already in the system. Really? Let me check and see if it is working. Go to home screen. Get a message on the app that it has a whole new look and to look around. Can’t get rid of the message to see if the camera is working. Have to do the app look around. Didn’t turn out to be much looking around, so why the message? Find new camera (yes it was added) and hit the play button. Spins for a while (no patience at this point) and nothing shows up. Nothing! Thats been about 30-40 minutes wasted on one of the cameras. I have many that are failing. Every time a camera does this, it is the same routine. Often i will have to delete and reinstall the entire thing. It takes forever. I am so fed up. I have two systems: two module units, 4 cameras and 2 doorbells. Currently only one module works but it doesn’t save clips. Only one camera is working so three offline, and both doorbells wont connect. I’ve had the systems for 1-1.5 yrs. They go offline often enough that I dread having to go through this troubleshooting routine. I’ve put in a request to refund me for both systems. I will update this review when i hear back.

Have had these cameras for a while now and enjoy them. Batteries last a while. These cameras need a blink subscription separate to amazon. Easy to maintain and accurate. Great picture quality and settings will change how much your battery is being used. Basic settings are fantastic.
