There is a noise from inside the box when moving it side to side, like sand or very small loose parts. Is that normal? Should I open it?

I just received my set for my son and upon opening the set several pieces were bent and are difficult to play with. How do I get replacements 4them?

Either buy another set or carefully use a hair dryer. But use gloves.
