I had tried many other peelers which did not impress me at all. I used to have a no name brand with serrated blade which worked beautifully. My mother-in-law fell for it; I let her have it ( what can I say, she is a nice lady). I searched for similar design for a while, until I found this one; it was match made in heaven. Get this one, and never look back.

See title above, literally just an excellent well made easy to use the product. I find you get more consistent results if you core the apple from the bottom to the top instead of the other way around. This is especially helpful if the apple is a little asymmetric.

I’m glad I found this peeler, specifically bc it’s serrated. This is perfect for peeling apples since I always peel apples in one long string. I’m able to guide the serrated blade with less effort and it glides smoothly. I finally was able to dump several regular kind peelers collected throughout the years!
