Oh Myy! I have missed having BBQ since my nightshade allergies was finally diagnosed. This is so amazing! Tonight I fixed the Cherry on chopped smoke ham. The flavor is slightly sweet with a little kick. The sauce was nice and thick and the flavor and smell are just amazing! Thank you so much! I can't wait to try your other products. good tasting nightshade free sauces. Great on ground meat, pork chops and gluten free chicken pieces.

Both of these sauces are a good option for people following AIP (even non-AIPers that tried it thought the flavor was pretty good). The ingredients are very clean! The consistency is thinner/runnier than "normal" tomato-based bbq sauces, so as dipping sauces they weren't the best. However, when I used them as a marinade they worked well, adding a really nice flavor. My personal preference was for the Mastodon sauce, which has a pleasant smokiness.

I think both of these bbq sauces taste like the real thing. It is so delicious. It is runny but I am aware of that and use it sparingly. In the summer, though, I use it on everything. So good. I have made bbq chicken for the entire family and not told them what was on it and they all loved it. Best stuff!

Edited 7/10/17: KC Natural was kind enough to send me a few peoples after changing the producer/recipe a bit. I have to say that these are much improved! I'd go as far as 3.5 stars if I could. They are still lacking something I can't put my finger on (kind of a sweet/tang bite), but they are a lot better now than they were when I first bought them. With a little dressing up (try adding the homemade Worcestershire sauce from The Healing Kitchen cook book), they are great. Than you, KC Natural!!! I, too, wanted to like these and feel terrible giving a negative review to a company that is trying to meet the huge need for AIP products. But! Both of these sauces tasted awful. Never mind that they are thing - I can handle that - but blech! I am a dedicated AIPer, my husband is not; neither of us could stand more than a half spoonful. I was so looking forward to a BBQ treat, but we can't consume these. Other reviews are pretty good, so did we get a bad batch?! One thing is for sure, I won't be ordering again :( I've never left such a bad review on a product, but in this case I couldn't help it.

I am so happy to have a non-tomato bbq sauce option. It has great taste, and the company sent me a replacement for a bottle that was damaged in shipping. I received the replacement in just a couple of days even with the supply chain issues that are going on currently. A great company with a great product.

Product smells amazing but bottles were broken and between seller and Amazon that shipped it, I spent $30 on two bottles of sauce I can't be refunded for or ask for a replacement. Gave 1 star because I have to...but did smell amazing.
