Otter Wax Boot Wax really delivers. The difference is clear; the shoe on the left is before, and the one on the right is after. After applying the wax, the leather looks noticeably richer, smoother, and well-conditioned. It brought life back to the shoe, enhanced the natural color, and gave it a clean, polished finish without looking overly shiny or greasy. I have now used this on 4 pairs of boots. As shown in picture, I have used this twice on my Vivobarefoot ESC all leather hiking boots. This has not only made them very resistant to water, but the leather is softer and more subtle, as well as looks a clean deeper color and honestly looks better than when they were new. I have also used these on my Ariat Cowboy boots, my Thorogood Boots, and even my wife's dress boots that she has had for many years. This wax did a great job on all of them. Her boots look brand new and were about 6 years old at the time. It is also quite easy to apply. I just used a microfiber towel, rubbed in circles until the wax was a on the towel and then applied in swirling motions around the boots. After using this single container on 4 pairs of boots, I have approximately half of the wax left so its safe to say you can get a solid 8-12 pairs of boots done with a single can.

Otterwax boot wax is a unique product that is perfectly suited for nubuck. I have a pair of Rockport chukka boots that somehow got a stain droplet on one toe. I did everything I could to remove the stain, from Gojo hand cleaner to dish soap to saddle soap. The saddle soap worked to remove most of the stain but some discoloration remained. I decided to try to wax or otherwise treat the boots to protect them from further discoloration and try to even out the remaining slight blemish. After much searching for a product that would work on suede or nubuck, I found Otterwax. It arrived promptly on schedule. I applied Otterwax with a foam applicator, but I think a small polish brush, a cloth or even fingers would work just as well. It went on evenly and left a rich light caramel color on what had been very light colored boots. I let the first application dry overnight and then made a second application. I let that dry overnight and then buffed the boots with a shoe polish brush. The boots came out perfectly, and the the new tone is perfect as well. I like it much more than the dirt-magnet beige that was the original color. The boots are now water resistant and the surface is far more durable than as-made. I'm glad I bought the large size tin because I ended up applying it to several more pairs of shoes and boots. It's a great product that is made in the USA from natural ingredients. I intend to keep Otterwax on hand in my shoe polish box from now on.

I work in corrections and this boot wax has been a boot saver! Excellent quality, smells not too strong. Water just beads off my boots, wax dries quickly when applying and makes my boots beautiful.

Easy to use works awesome been using it for years. I set my oven on the lowest temperature and put my boots in there or my shoes. I let them warm up for about 15 minutes and then I apply the otter wax. It soaks in and lasts for quite a while.

Dubbed my WWII repro boots. No smell and takes 24-48 hours to dry. Sometimes makes leather darker.

Sehr gutes Wachs, dass einen sehr angenehmen Geruch (da ohne jegliche synthetische Chemikalien) und sehr gute pflegende und wasserabweisende Eigenschaften besitzt. Um Leder wasserdicht zu bekommen, sollte man es regelmäßig auftragen. Das Leder dunkelt temporär leicht ab, hellt aber wieder auf. Empfehlenswertes Produkt.

Stinkt fürchterlich chemisch wie Schuhcreme. Der Geruch passt absolut nicht zu den Inhaltsstoffen die angegeben sind. Ging Retoure

Ik heb de wax gebruikt om een helemaal uitgedroogd leren jasje te voeden. Het leer stond op het punt om overal te barsten maar na behandeling is het terug helemaal zacht en soepel. Ik ben heel blij! Ik heb redelijk wat product gebruikt (ca. 70% van een klein potje) maar gezien de barre staat van het leer lag dat in de lijn van de verwachtingen. Het aanbrengen is simpel. Met een microvezel doekje de wax met draaiende beweging in het leer wrijven en that's it. Nadien heb ik het jasje 24u laten drogen (op een kapstok op kamertemperatuur). Het was mijn bedoeling om na de droogtijd nog eens met een schoon doekje over het jasje te gaan om eventuele wax resten te verwijderen maar dat bleek niet nodig te zijn. Al het product werd volledig opgenomen door het leer 👍 Ik ben blij dat ik voor otterwax heb gekozen ipv voor een simpel chemisch alternatief. Zoals steeds weer heeft moedertje natuur alles in huis dat we nodig hebben ❤️

Fantastic waterproof properties and easy to apply. Not only did boots but re-waterproofed a waxed cotton coat as well
