Works without burning, removes the majority of hair.
I put a layer on above my genitals but below my stomach to test it, at 4 minutes, some removal. After 7 minutes I wiped it off fully, and only had very slight stubble where applied. I felt no discomfort while using this, and moved onto larger areas to test. I used it on the surrounding pubic/genital areas and it removed it rather well after 7 minutes. No pain was felt from it. There was some very short stubble left, but due to how short it is it was very easy to remove anything left over painlessly with a razor. After having used it occasionally through the past few weeks, I still have not experienced any burning or discomfort. The hair is also growing in slower, and much thinner than previously. I can afford to wait between one and two weeks before using the cream again, with minimal stubble left over. (Which gets easier to remove with a razor and shaving cream after every application of Nad's, as the hair continues to grow slower and thinner). As far as smell is concerned - It is not that bad. It doesn't smell good, but it's not a particularly strong scent. Overall I'd recommend this. Be sure to follow the directions - Test a small area first. Do not go over 10 minutes, and if you feel burning or discomfort, get the cream off immediately. It is worth noting that some people will have reactions with the chemicals used, which can cause chemical burns if it is left on too long, and becomes incredibly painful. I know this because I left nair on my entire head and face for about 15 minutes - It is easily the worst pain I have ever felt. It was like somebody dragging salt coated, red-hot barbed wire against my scalp every time I tried removing any of it. It did not leave permanent scars, but my face looked very bad for almost a week afterwards. I also had radiating pain through my scalp/head for the next few days. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS

As Avertised - But Apply With Care
OK - let's cut to the chase ... I'm not a body builder in training for a competition or a professional cyclist and I'm also not covered with hair from my ankles to my neck. I like being smooth 'down there' and so does my partner. I was tired of shaving my undercarriage with a blade and after investigating the various options out there I decided to give Nads a try. I'd tried other depilatories with varying results and skin reactions (ouch!). I read about 100 reviews for Nads on Amazon, poor, fair and middling, before I attempted using this product on my fellas. Here are my observations: 1) Give the area in question a good trim using scissors (better at avoiding nicks than a trimmer or razor in my experience). Try to get the hair down to 1/4". 2) Definitely do a small test application first - emphasis on small. I did a dime-sized test patch on my 'sensitive area' and followed the directions. 4 minutes did not do a complete job removing all of the hair so I left the cream on for another 2 - 2 1/2 minutes, checking every minute or so. That seemed to do the trick for my particular type of hair (moderately thick and kinky). I jumped into the shower and washed off with warm water. The test patch was completely bare and there was no itching, burning or swelling. 3) Wait at least 24 hours to make sure there aren't any 'lingering side-effects'. 4) If all is well after 24 hours trim the entire area you want to treat and apply a THICK layer of the cream all over (1/4" to 3/8" in my case). Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly afterwards and set your timer for whatever amount of time you figured out from your test run that works for you. 5) When time's up, hop in a warm shower, rinse off the treated area and rub gently with a wash rag or other wet soft cloth to dislodge the remaining stubble. This may take a couple of minutes depending on how long you left the cream on and how thick you applied it. 6) Dry off and admire your bare pair. I chose to apply a small amount of hydrocortisone cream afterwards for insurance but it probably wasn't necessary based on my earlier test run. This stuff works great for me and gave me the desired results quickly and painlessly - no nicks, no cuts ... no little hairs all over the bathroom. Also, the smell wasn't nearly as bad as some reviews made it out to be. If you're tired of shaving your boys I'd definitely give this stuff a try. But be cautious though ... everyone's skin and hair are different. I am anxious to see how long it keeps the hair at bay but based on my experience I will most definitely be using Nads in the future instead of shaving or using other depilatories. 09/10/17 Update Had some small hairs growing back so I gave my fellas a second application today using the same method - except for the trimming, test patch and 24 hour wait - as above and again, it worked like a charm. Also used it on my ears earlier last week (which I hate shaving almost as much as 'down there') using the test patch and timing method and they're still smooth and hair free. Great stuff - but use with care!

It works, but use with care
It works well, but I would recommend using it with care, especially if you have fair colored skin or hair. I took me several tries to finally get it right without getting the chemical burn. But, when it is done right, it works really well. I have noticed that it seems be work better on the boys than on my shoulders. It makes the boys as smooth as a baby's bottom. Below are suggestions on how I have successfully use this product without getting burned. First, I recommend that you have hydrocortisone lotion available before you use it. I would not recommend leaving the Nad's cream on for more than 4 minutes, especially if you have fair colored skin or hair. I got burned the first time I used it. Also, I have found that I am more sensitive to it on my shoulders and by my neck than I am in the lower region. I have found that it doesn't work well on longer hair. As others have posted, it is chemically burning the hair away. The longer the hair there is the longer it takes to burn off the hair (and the skin in the process). I would recommend shaving first and then wait a couple days to use this or just trim the hairs as short as you possibly can get them. I know, the purpose of this product is so that you don't have to shave. This would be just for the first time you use the cream, as long as you use it consistently without letting the hairs get too long. If you don't want to do either of these, I think you could use the cream for 4 minutes and repeat the process daily until you get the desired affect (I have not tried this to know for sure). Next, I would recommend that you do it in stages. If you try do it a large area at once, I can lead to you getting burned. If it takes you 2 or 3 minutes to apply the cream and then you start the 4 minute timer, the area that was done first will have had the cream on that area for 6 or 7 minutes and will probably burn you (personal experience). Finally, I have found that it is best to use cool water to remove the cream when the time comes. The way that I do it is that I will hop in the shower at the 4 minute mark and wash off the cream, using my hands, in cool water. I set the temperature cooler than normal but warm enough that I am still comfortable. When I used warmer water (normal shower temperature), it seemed to burn more than when I used the cooler water. The first time I used the Nad's cream, I tried to wash it off using a wash cloth at the sink. That was an epic fail. Since then, I always wash it off in the shower. There are times that I still have issues after using this cream. If the area seems red or feels irritated after I get out of the shower, I will apply a generous amount of hydrocortisone cream to the area and it will quickly clear up. If I wait and then use the hydrocortisone, it doesn't seem to work. For some reason, I only seem to need it on my shoulders and near my neck. I haven't needed to apply it to the boys or any other part of the nether region. I hope you find this helpful.

It's value is based on how much you need
I read a lot of reviews before I tried this product , and I have to say I agree with everyone else giving it 3 stars. I identify as gender queer and have been managing my body hair for years. I've tried a number of options including straight edge razors, waxing, and creams and finally settled on a regular routine of grooming with a quartet of specialized electric razors that do a great job but just don't give lasting results. I was hoping this product would provide longer results for the same amount of time, but I was disappointed. First, the upside. I never had issues with burning or irritation. There is a bit of a smell, but I own two cats, so I'm used to questionable odors. Light a scented candle, and you'll be fine. It also acts as a good exfoliate. My skin, though still stubbly after 10 minutes, never felt fresher. Now the downsides. First, if you're like me and do most of your body including chest, legs, arms, back, and bum, this is not a cost-effective solution. I could tell just from doing a series of test patches that one tube of this stuff probably wouldn't get me through a single grooming session. In order to get even, reliable results, you have to spread it on very thick. That's hard to do if you're as naturally furry as I am. That $5/tube cost will add up quickly, which leads me to my second point. This is not a miracle alternative to waxing. The stubble certainly wasn't as thick as it usually is, but it's there. Nad's own website states you'll probably see hair growth again in 3 to 5 days. Going through 2 tubes twice a week is basically 80 dollars worth of hair remover in a month. I'm better off paying for a waxing session at a salon. It's also a pretty messy experience compared to an electric razor. Normally I just put down a towel and go to town while watching TV. In this case, I couldn't leave the bathroom for fear of spreading the stuff around my house. To sum up, if you just want to do a small part of your body quickly, and you're not more hair than man, this stuff will work as advertised, but if your grooming routine can best be compared to the deforestation of the Amazon rain forest, you're better off spending your money on a dedicated electric razor or waxing. For those who are curious, my routine involves trimming longer hairs with the Philips Norelco OneBlade Face + Body Razor, going over large areas with the Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 3500, and cleaning up the hard-to-reach areas with the Cleancut K30SP. Use a pre-electric shave lotion first as it helps ensure the longevity of your razor heads and keeps the risk of bumps and cuts low then settle in. A full grooming session takes me about an hour and a half.

I wouldn't mind the smell if it worked
I'm not going to mince words or attempt eloquence here. The bottom line is, this stuff did not work at all. I attempted it first a couple months ago on my legs and arms. I only left it on for three minutes, since it was a first attempt and I didn't know how my skin would react to it. It didn't remove a single hair, but I did find myself sweating later. It wasn't itching or burning like I was expecting, it was just profuse sweating for a couple hours. (Yes, I did rinse it thoroughly.) My second attempt was today, I left it on for the full six minutes. Again, it didn't remove a single hair. Now I'm out of the shower, it's about fifteen minutes later, and I'm sweating. For what it's worth, I'm of Irish descent, my hair is thin and wispy. It's never been thick or coarse.

Gave this a try after another one failed me and I'm thrilled
I have extremely sensitive skin, but with what I describe as a medium level of hair across my body (blonde to medium brown) and hating the look of it in many spots, I gave another brand a try. That one really was bad: it wasn't the worst on my skin, though not great, but it hardly got any hair off and after scraping and scarping my skin did burn and hurt for a few days. It was worthless. But I wasn't giving up. We have a wax machine, but with my skin, I admit, I don't want to try wax. And my wife has shaved me on a few occasions, but it's rough on my skin, comes out patchy, and kills my razors. So... we decided to give another brand a try. After reading reviews and narrowing down to 2 products, I decided to give Nad's for Men Hair Removal Cream the first try... and I'm glad I did. We started with a smaller patch of about 4"X4" - that went well. She covered the spot as directed, let it on for 3 1/2 minutes, and took it off. No pain while it was on, no pain wiping it off, no pain after, so she went for the whole back. Again, 3 1/2 minutes (longer by the time it was all off) and then wiping it off - it took several washcloths and water. There was some redness from the wiping, but no pain from the cream. I would say it took about 5 minutes of washing it off - with almost all of the hair coming off easily - but there were places that needed several passes - when my wife said to shower. She didn't want to overdo washing or leaving it there too long. I jumped the shower and because it was my back, she told me to put soap onto a sponge, then run that down my back with the water spray. It worked very well. According to my wife, there was no residue on the back - I did have to wipe off along the line under my arms near the armpit with another wash cloth - it was the residue, but it came off fairly easily at this point. It's a day later, my back feels 100% fine, there is no burning or redness, and the hair is mostly gone. There are a couple small areas where she didn't think she got enough on it or they were earliest being removed. But overall, from her perspective, it worked great. From mine, I'm really happy. I do not think it's something I'll do a lot. Because of the sensitivity of my skin I'll see how it grows in - time, feeling (it can itch), and so forth, but I think it's something I'll do during swimsuit season, but leave grow over winter. That's mostly so I don't harm my skin long term from exposure to chemicals repeatedly. But that's just what I'm thinking now; who knows what I do long term. Overall I'm thrilled with Nads and will be using it again. We didn't do my backside and she wants to practice blending the line between hair and no hair - it's so darn obvious - but I think we have a winner with this product!

Just save up for an electric shaver
First off I got this for grooming my intimate area because I was tired of shaving and looking for an alternative. This could be it, but the hassle of it doesn't really it make it easier than what I was trying to replace. First off I noticed was the scent of it, it smells disgusting, and the smell lingers in the room and the area you use it on your body. Second it actually did what it was advertised to do quite well. You just need to do the test area like the bottle recommends and when you put it on don't rub it into your skin and just let it sit (I did 10 minutes without any irritation). The downside of using it is that for it to do its job fully you really need to slather it on. Next was the cleanup, the bottle says all you need is a small towel to wipe off the cream and then wash it dry. You need a decent sized wash cloth to get it all off because of how much you need to put on your skin for it to work and then once you get all the cream off not all the hair comes off with it, it just stays on your body. You then need to rinse the area (basically need to take a shower if you are doing your lower area) and give it a good rub to make sure all the hair that was affected by the cream actually falls off. Because of how the cream is applied you can have spotty results if you don't get a good amount on every bit of hair leaving you with patches remaining. It did what it said it would, but the amount of work is equal or more than using my electric razor which does a more consistent job. If you are sensitive to razor burn this could be a good alternative if the cream doesn't cause you to break out. The main reason I won't use it again was the inconsistent results (due to not apply ample amount of cream in some areas), the smell, and the amount of effort.

Smells funny and does the job!
It's exactly what it claims to be, a hair-removal cream. It has an awful smell vaguely akin to acid, which I suspect is one of the primary ingredients, and it's fairly slow acting because it's frowned upon to melt your customers skin off, but give it a minute or two and it will do a clean job of hair removal without excessive irritation. One of the nicer things I noticed was that there was no itching when the hair came back, but I imagine that's just a characteristic of hair removal creams.
