Even with a 1GB internet service, go with Cat6 always!
We have a new ISP giving us 1GB down and up load speeds. Our FIOS modem is connected to our wifi6 Router with Cat6 cable. I did an experiment using both Cat 5e and Cat 6 from modem to router, doing about 75 Speedtests over a week. Although Cat 5e is considered sufficient up to 1GB internet speeds, I found the Cat6 --continuously gave me ~50 more mbps for downloads and uploads. I also swapped out the Cat 5e cable with 2 others to be certain the Cat 5e speeds were consistent and they were. I've concluded that Cat6 is the way to go, even with a 1GB speed setup that presumably would work fine with Cat 5e as well. Considering Cat6 is heavier in gauge and suitable for up to 2.5 GB speeds, I'm convinced that the Cat6 cable is the way to go in all cases, even with slower connections. You'll get all the bandwidth your setup can give you and be certain that your ethernet cable is not the factor in limiting your potential for your internet plan speed. I found these Cat6 cables well made and they use solid and sturdy ethernet plugs and have a thick exterior sheath. Go for Cat6 in your setup and skip any consideration to use Cat 5e!

Solidly Made With Reliable Molded Connectors
These Ethernet cables were exactly what I needed to add some additional connections to my local area network. They were conveniently packaged in a waterproof clear plastic bag. Inside, each cable was separately wound and secured with a couple of twist ties. Once snapped into place they reliably remain connected. These cables do not inhibit data transmission anywhere on my network and are a good value. ***Although unexpected there was an enclosed coupon offering a couple of FREE 10-foot Cat6 Ethernet cables, but the URL to request them resulted in "HTTP Status: 404 (not found)" on three different computer browsers and my cellphone. It was an attractive offer but I was not able to redeem it.***

Works fine, economical for sure, stiffer than ideal wire seems to have a built in spring or curly q
OK but would have expected it to be more flexible than it is. Seems to have a built in spring to it even after smoothing it out. Signal wise and clip attachment wise A OK. Clip looks and feels durable so that is a good thing. I'm not sure I will buy anymore of them since both the 6 footers and the 8 footers I bought in 6 packs are very stiff and don't lay flat. Maybe they wound them up too tight to package them or it is part of the manufacturing process I don't know but not a desirable feature to have curly Qs in use. I like straight cables. They are economical but again not sure I would buy them again?

Perfect Short Patch Cables
I used these Ultra Clarity CAT6 cables as short patch leads for my home theater setup, and they’ve been excellent. The different colors make it easy to trace which device is connected where, and I’ve never had a single issue with performance or connection quality. They work great and are perfect for keeping everything neat and organized. Highly recommended!

These worked great to consolidate a bunch of too long cables from my switch to various devices. Cleaned everything right up. Exactly 18" from end of connector to end of connector.

I am very pleased with the Cat 6 Ethernet cables that i ordered from Ultra Clarity Cables. A small misunderstanding arose regarding a sales promotion and Ultra Clarity Cables was most generous in resolving the matter, very much in this consumer's favor.
