Medium - Silver

I bought this one to replace a glass one, more so to have a second one in rotation, the glass one works fine still. The main reason I bought this was, I just wanted to keep my coffee hotter longer, while I waited for it to brew/steep, and to have my own press. I also don’t trust the glass one not to break, even though it hasn’t yet for many years. What I like about this one is the plunger surface goes all the way down to the bottom so you can get a more compressed press. It keeps the coffee hot for an hour or more. Solid design. Easy to clean, I don’t take mine fully apart to do so but it’s easy to do. No rust. The double filter works very well. This one is also sealed more to yield better brewing/steeping My only issues is I can’t t see the inside, not that I need to, I just like the asthetic of seeing coffee move like in the glass one. Also on the underside of my handle the paint is lifting off, not on the body. I did buy it cause it was black, but if the paint really gets bad, I will just sand it and have a cool silver one, it will still do it’s job. I would like another spout filter but it’s not needed Compared to the Glass one I grab this first, and often. If they made a double wall glass one like this I would buy both still, but this is made to last

Very nice design. The best coffee and keeps coffee warm. Easy to wash and reuse. Use it daily. Definitely makes at-least 4 decent size cups

For $30 for something I use every day and depend on - I'm giving it 5 stars. Had it for more than 6 months, and I think it's going to last a lot longer than the last glass Bodium cylinder I had to buy. I can't tell any difference in the taste, and it's well-made, including the parts that screw together. It pours very well, and I like the swivel top with an indicator on opening up to pour (all metal, simple design) - keeps the coffee a little hotter.

Works as expected and makes some of the best tasting coffee I've tasted. Easy to use and clean. Insulated carafe keeps coffee warm for longer than expected. Seems durable and will stand the test of time.

Due to the versatility of the french press design, I bring mine with me pretty much everywhere. I use it at home almost daily, I use it on road trips, and I take it camping. I originally had a cheap french press from IKEA. While I loved using it, the glass carafe just wasn't very durable and I broke two over the course of a year. There's nothing worse than having shattered glass and boiling hot liquid everywhere - before you even have your first cup of coffee! In my search for a product that was just as versatile but much more durable than the glass ones I was used to, I came across this french press. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it's a quality product and feels very well built. I have no doubts that this will last me much longer than the old french press that I loved so much. As a bonus, the lid and strainer from my old IKEA presses are actually the same diameter as this stainless carafe. I held onto them, although I doubt I'll need them any time soon. I've had very good luck with this product over the last month or so that I've been using it. Every cup of coffee is just as great as the last. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Others have complained about the black paint peeling off, but I haven't had any issues. This may simply be due to the fact that I hand wash my dishes or maybe that I just haven't had it long enough for the paint to break down? In any case, I'm not worried about it. Even if that happens the product will remain fully functional. My only complaint is that there are no markings on the inside for how much coffee to put in. I may scribe a line inside the carafe so that I don't have to bring a measuring cup with me when I go camping. This is more of just a personal preference though and doesn't impact the functionality of the product, so I don't feel that it's worth docking a star for. If you're thinking about getting this because you keep breaking the glass ones, this is the solution. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner. It really is a great product.

You might look at this photo and think, "Why would someone give a 5 star review to a friend press that looks so haggard??" We LOVE this French Press!! I was looking for the measurements to buy filters and I saw the buy date and was seriously impressed we've had it for so long and it's still works like new. SIX YEARS! We take this every vacation we go on. This has been out of the country 4x. On countless camping trips and hotel stays. Thousands of dishwashing cycles and it's still works like new. It holds the heat in great and it's pretty much indestructible if you've ever seen airports handle luggage, LoL. Obviously the paint is almost completely gone, but like I said this thing has taken a beating. Definitely buy the stainless one if you care about how it looks. Just wanted to hop on here and recommend an actual great product.

This is a great product. I ditched the pod coffee pot and moved over to a press. I bought a cheaper one to see if I would like it. I hated how the coffee wouldn’t stay warm and it leaked. Made the move up and bought this one due to size and reviews! Wow is the coffee amazing. It keeps the coffee warm and I love it comes with extra filter. And best of all no leaks!! Don’t hesitate on this one.

Bought this as a replacement to many glass cafetière which have been broken over the years. Good quality, sturdy cafetière in a matt black finish. Replacement filters are a real bonus as means you don’t need to reorder when they inevitably wear out. The fit of the filter is very tight so I have had no problem at all with any stray coffee grounds escaping during plunging. It also keeps the coffee warm much longer than a traditional glass cafetière which is a real plus point if you want a second cup. Although dishwasher safe, I would recommend hand washing over the dishwasher on the whole as th3 black coating has come off at a few places after dishwashing. Merely cosmetic of course but so easy to wash by hand that it’s not a big effort and will maintain it’s nice look for longer I feel. I am converted and will not be returning to a glass version again!

Having broken several glass presses this has been a worthwhile buy.Sturdy to use and makes the creamest of coffee's.

This french press is sturdy and well made! There are double mesh screen filters and the fit is excellent. For the past few years and the past few french presses I have been using a little strainer when I pour the coffee to catch the grounds. With this press I no longer need to use the strainer! I had forgotten that they were supposed to work this way! The coffee tastes great too. I was worried about moving from glass, but this one doesn't alter the coffee significantly at all. And it stays warm FOREVER!
