Anyone know the specific grits?

Best guess. Dark side 220, light side, close to 1000 grit.

Do I have to use honing oil with it?

Yes. It is a very pourus stone that would get loaded with material without a lubricant. Also the slurry of stone dust and materials in the honing oil make the stone more efficient. I use either deisel fuel or mineral oil for most. This stone is really thirsty so I soaked it in mineral oil before use and keep it lubed up with more as I use it.

what are the dimensions of this puck?

Exactly the same size as a swimming pool, chlorine tablet. I use one for removing stains from my plaster swimming pool. Fits neatly into pool-tool handle/pole with a tablet gripper (e.g. Pentair 542068 Algae Gon Chlorine Tablet Holder Pole Accessory with Snap-Adapt Handle ) for scouring away stains.
