I liked the Sennelier half sticks
I liked the Sennelier half sticks. After I used them, I found that I prefer the softer pastels like Ludwig. The colors were excellent. They added a nice alternative to my other pastels. I think it comes down to preference.

SOFT PASTELS?
For a soft pastel reputed to be soft and buttery, most of these pastels are very hard and scratchy. $50 for this? So disapointing. I would not have expected that from the Sennelier brand of soft pastels. There are a few colors that I do like but this is definitely a hit or miss situation. So regretting this purchase. Not sure what I will do with these; since I cannot use most of them as originally intended.

Hyatt's Graphic Supply Co. Hit the Mark!
I received this product and a second item that I had ordered from Hyatt's All Things Creative (Hyatt's Graphic Supply) company through Amazon in record time. Both were packed extremely well to prevent breakage of the items that included the Sennelier's soft pastel sticks (which I was worried about) and a Pitt Pastel pencil. Fast and in perfect condition; reasonable priced for quality artist's materials. I will definitely order directly and indirectly from this family-owned company again.
