Computer Science: A Structured Programming Approach Using C (3rd Edition)

This is an excellent book. I like to know what is going on underneath the function calls, and how the language works, and this book explains things very well. It is very thorough and descriptive. I have read other reviews that are somewhat critical of how this book is so in depth, but in my opinion, that is what separates the good books from the average. Perhaps, if you are just looking for an overview of the language with examples, this book is not for you. But if you really want to learn C, how it works, program structure and implementation, this book is for you. Definitely worth the money.

Great product, required for my computer coding class. Very informative. Great book to skim since there's a lot of useful information. If your having trouble on the homework, just whip this book out and you will almost always get an example similar to the problem.

I bought this book as a text book for structured programming and I have to say I am not disappointed. The key for this book is the vocabulary at the end of each chapter and the exercises to be completed. I have read the reviews of others and realize these individuals use the book for reading and as a reference. The book was not intended for that because it presents technical material that needs to be studied and used, not glossed over in a casual read. This is a Computer Science Textbook using C , not just a book on C programming. My only complaint is finding the other media that is suppose to come with the book. I am happy I found this book and wish I has it sooner. For those who thought is difficult, study and use techniques to master the vocabulary at the end of each Chapter before moving on.

This book has a lot of examples and you can get practice before going to an exam or developing your own program. It is easy to understand and easy to read and go along with.

This is a good book. I used for my freshman year in engineering. I sold it when the semester ended. However, I bought it again because I needed to review some material and I knew it was a good source. Recommended!!!

I needed this product for my C programming class and it did come in handy.

The concepts in this book are very clear & very helpful for the people who are doing self study. Though topics are very lengthy, by the end of the topic, theoretically one will be strong on the concepts. There are only 2 to 3 pratical examples otherwise worth buying this book. I have been reading this since Oct 2019 and feel very comfortable on the topics.

Gud packaging and prompt delivery. A great book for anyone interested in learning C programming language. Concepts are explained deeply with lots of programs(each program explained line by line). Overly enthusiastic readers cn read this straight a way bt avg readers shud read any basic book first n den go fr this 1 as this is a bulky read.
