This is a classic and reliable bar soap that can be used daily, in any climate. It leaves the skin moisturized, does not cause any irritation if you wash your pubic area as well. It lathers but is calming on the skin. Will always have this in my cupboard. Good value.

Dove Sensitive Beauty Bar Soap cleans well, has no scent, leaves my body refreshed, is always a great value for the price, has a refreshment value, leaves my skin soft without a soapy film nor stripping of my natural oils while moisturizing! I love the white classic ovular bar appearance and my skin is left moisturized afterwards! Dove Beauty Bar Soap is one product I ALWAYS have on hand and have 1-2 backup bars at any given time for my showering routine which I use with an antimicrobial scrubber which I bought from Amazon and I use a separate exfoliating scrub as well as a cleansing oil, but THIS is a staple no matter what that really hasn't changed! I appreciate THIS beauty bar because it is pH balanced for feminine areas and doesn't cause Urinary Tract Infections unlike other heavily fragranced soap so it's definitely safe for genital hygiene! As for storing this Dove Beauty Bar, I store it in a basic soap container to keep it fresh and away from debris, bacteria, or fungi but still it's good to clean a bath/shower as often as you choose for You! I used to use those poof loofahs and liquid soap but then learned how much fungi, bacteria breeds on those and it scared me so I traded the liquid form of this soap which is Good too for the bar soap years ago and never looked back! There's nothing like the feel of lathering a brand new freshly opened bar and when it gets smaller and fits into the scrubbing antimicrobial spikes from the antimicrobial scrubber that hangs, goes on a hook, or can be put in a container! It feels so refreshing! I think this could be used on the face but I just use it on my body! I have a separate bar for feminine hygiene and one for the rest of my body! Different colored soap boxes make it easy to differentiate! As far as feminine soaps go, I have tested MANY and this is a go-to!!! Remember to get the Sensitive Skin as it is Fragrance Free which doesn't cause irritation. Dove Sensitive Beauty Bar is a classic for people like myself who have Eczema and/or rough and bumpy skin! It's VERY gentle yet effective! Also, these bars last a VERY long time! I will keep buying these and suggest these to ANYONE looking for a high end soap bar sans actual soap! It does make the skin feel more beautiful! If you don't want a tool, a washcloth that's clean each time you bathe/shower works or just suds up with your hands could even be plenty...as it's versatile! Any questions, just ask me!

Perfect as an eczema girlie. It's cleanser in bar form, not pure soap made with lye so it's way less stripping and not super alkaline, which skin is supposed to be on the acidic side. As a cleanser, it's easier to wash off than normal bar soap. It has a very light and not unpleasant smell (some fragrance free stuff smells awful) but definitely FRAGRANCE FREE. I get so so itchy and tight skin from almost all fragrance in any form. All fragrance free products have a light smell that virtually disappears. Fragrance free products are still made with ingredients, not air or water. It cleans well, lathers well. It dries my skin DRAMATICALLY LESS than any liquid soap, including cream or moisturizing soaps. I like it a lot. It takes up a ton less space as a bar compared to liquid soap. Liquid is always easier to use and wash off but it's a pain to store and dispose of plastic.

What else is there to say! Great soap! Leave skin soft and does not feel heavy on the skin afterwards. Does not dry out my skin and does not irritate my skin. I put in a soap pouch and use this soap daily.

Love Dove soap, it is gentle on my skin and really helped with a dermatitus issue. It is not harsh or too smelly. Great soap.

This Dove Beauty Bar works well for my sensitive skin and lives up to its gentle, hypoallergenic claims. No scent at all - yay! - and unlike some other "frangrance-free" products, this is truly FREE of scent. Smooth and creamy, it lathers very well and doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. After weeks of bathing with these bars, my skin feels clean and moisture-rich, without the irritability, redness, and feeling of tightness that can come from some other soaps. Each 3.75 oz, bar of soap is a good size. They last a reasonable time, used daily. The packaging protects them nicely, and the 8 pack is a good supply for a couple of months. The formula is gentle enough for use on face and body, and I've had zero breakouts or reactions. The only reason I didn't give the Dunbar five stars is price. These suckers are more pricey than other sensitive soaps, and they are only marginally above average quality. At that price, I expect them to last just a little longer or get a few more bars in the pack. However, while considerably more costly than some other soaps, this one is very reliable for sensitive skin, and does work as it promises.

Body wash user here. This bar is nothing at all like the wash of the exact same scent/kind, though I have no answers why that is; this is far superior. Given my plethora of skin issues, and my body's rejection of anything touching it other than air -- and sometimes even that, god forbid-- I buy these bars now, so that I can have a pleasantly long shower without my body having a tantrum that lasts for the next 24 hours. In all seriousness, I am extremely skin-sensitive to products far and wide, and body soaps are no exception. This one just seems to work. Of note: this is not the hypoallergenic "no scent" that Dove makes, but I don't seem to need it in the bar, though I DO in the wash. I mention this in case anyone has my same issue but wants to give this a shot. Cost wise, there is simply no comparison. $10/month v. <$2 month?
