I bought this for my oldest son years ago and we ended up losing about half of the pieces so I ended up buying a replacement because it is such a nice puzzle. The quality is outstanding as it’s thick wood with beautiful colors and metal hinges for the doors. Inside each door is a magnet that corresponds to the painting on the door and is a great thinking game for your kids to think out which magnet goes with which door. I don’t think it’s very difficult as my 4 year old can figure everything out pretty easily. My kids love playing with it and it’s a puzzle that really stood the test of time because we still have the old puzzle and it’s in great condition years later. The only reason why another was needed was for the replacement magnets. I highly suggest.

Melissa and Doug strikes again! My little one loves the magnets and latches on this little board! It’s not a huge size like a puzzle but still large enough to have lots of fun with. I toss this in my diaper bag and the kids play with it everywhere! Wood is nice a sturdy and nothing has broken on it despite how many time my kids have dropped this out of their stroller or thrown it while outside. Great for fine motor skills and definitely keeps a kid busy!

I bought this when my son was 14 months, he love to open and close doors so I thought it would be perfect. I was right! He does not understand the whole concept of placing the correct magnet in the right are BUT he loves to open and take a magnet out and then open and take another one out, etc. e took this to a friends house and he had entertained himself for a while with this. It is very cute and colorful board and since it is magnetic it is easy to store and you are less likely to loose pieces like you are with puzzles. This is a fun interactive toy for you and your child! Very good quality!

This hide and seek board is very educational because the child learns which items belong together. For example, the dog goes in the dog house. The flaps are easy to open and the pieces under the flap are magnetic, so they don't fall out or get lost. My 15-month old son loves this toy. He is too young to know which pieces go where, but he will learn that in time. Meanwhile, he enoys opening the flaps, taking pieces out, and trying to put them back in. It is beautifully made with bright colors and durable wood. Be careful with a child who puts toys in their mouth (because of the magnetic pieces), although the pieces are really not that small. I would recommend this hide and seek board for everyone!

Perfect for 9+ months and even more so for 12-14 month olds. I highly recommend this for any baby that is interested in opening and closing doors or cause and effect. It is adorable to see how play has evolved from playing with just opening and closing the doors to now picking up the magnets and moving them around. Highly recommend.

Fun concept with doors to open and removable magnetic figures behind each door. The magnets are on color-coded backgrounds that help sort them back into the right places once they are taken out of the puzzle. My 15 mo granddaughter loves to play with the magnets both with the puzzle and on the refrigerator door. I took off one star because one of the door hinges arrived bent and the door does not close correctly.

My one year old adores opening and closing. This puzzle was a no-brainer. You open it up, take the magnet out, close it back up. Repeating over and over. Wonderful for little ones! My only complaint is that the picture on the magnet comes up pretty easy. To be fair, my little one puts the pieces in her mouth and the puzzle is not made for that. So probably my fault for giving it to a child so young. Also, some of the pieces fit in the puzzle so well that they are difficult to get out. But only for the young ones. My older children can do it easy. Overall, a wonderful puzzle with lots of great entertainment opening and closing doors. Keeps baby away from the real doors and cabinet doors so I am happy with it!
