Perfect for getting maximum protection at indoor ranges, and/or if you have a smaller head.
It seems there are two camps when it comes to ear protection. Those that want something that's easy to use and comfortable, light, and low profile and those that want maximum hearing protection. I personally fall into the latter category if possible. When I'm shooting at an indoor range I want maximum protection, so I'll use these with plugs in. I bought these particularly for indoor range use and they are perfect. I also have a set of the very popular highly rated Howard Leight impact sport muffs and there's no comparison, these do a much better job of protecting your hearing. Now I have a small head and my ears are spaced high, so I have a hard time finding muffs that go small enough to fit me well, but these fit with room to spare. So for anyone with a smaller head these are great! Comfort is an individual thing, keep in mind that the more comfortable they are it's likely they are not sealing as well, especially around your glasses. In comparing these to my howard leights I found that with glasses on in certain head positions the seal was mostly compromised, and I could hear the difference with and without glasses. With these I could not tell the difference between with and without glasses. The downside of that is they do put more pressure on your head and over a long day that can certainly lead to a headache. So if you have to wear them 8 hours a day it might get to you, but for an hour or two at an indoor range I find they are fine. Now again due to my small head, I can't wear any muffs even the lowest profile ones and shoot a rifle/shotgun, none of them will allow me to get a cheek weld without becoming dislodged. Other people seem to have no issue with muffs on stocks so for them lower profile muffs might be desirable. The same is true if you are wearing them for 8 hour range sessions, where comfort is a big issue, and you may need electronic muffs that allow you to hear range commands. The electronic muffs are nice, I've used all of the popular brands, and you do get what you pay for, but none of them will protect your hearing as well as these, the db rating doesn't lie. Every 3db cuts the sound level in half, and you can add about 5db for adding plugs under them (you don't simply add the two db ratings). The next highest electronic I've used is the 30db pro ears, they are nice, but even they don't cut the sound as well as these, and they are just as big. They are more comfy for long range sessions and it is nice to be able to use plugs in them turn the volume up and still hear range commands and conversation clearly. For competitions the electronic muffs are really nice because you can hear what's going on but still always have your ear protection on. Some of the more popular electronic muffs are in the 18-22db range, that might be okay if you double plug, but indoors it's not nearly enough if you value your hearing. An 22db rated muff with plugs under them is at best 25db. These alone do a better job protecting your hearing.

Focus hack 5000X
Productivity hack like no other. These will cancel out the entire world, it makes dialing in 1000% easier. Have not tried them at a gun range, but if you want to focus, I highly recommend.

compact and efficient
I would give these earmuffs somewhere between four and five stars. Compared to my other earmuffs, which do not fold, these do fold and allow for easier stowage in my range bag. As others have apparently experienced, I find that the headpiece feels like it has to be drawn down on the head almost overly tight in order to properly place the muffs over the ears. However, once in place, these earmuffs do feel comfortable and cover my ears well. I like that they have a 34 dB NRR. While I can't really tell a difference between these and my 30 dB earmuffs in terms of noise reduction at the shooting range, they do seem to be quite effective in that particular kind of setting. Initially, I was a little concerned that the swiveling feature of the earmuff that allows them to fold would be a weak point in the seal around the ears. After several uses now, the earmuffs seem to be more than adequately built for keeping a good seal around the ears. I would recommend these to anyone who needs earmuffs for shooting sports.

Customer satisfaction impressive
Works fine. First pair sent had what I perceived a defect. I wrote to the manufacturer to verify it was a defect before I returned it to Amazon, the manufacturer sent me a new one. Impressive.

The fold to carry/store feature is quite nice as it takes up less space in my range ...
This set offers very adequate noise reduction. The fold to carry/store feature is quite nice as it takes up less space in my range bag. I read one review that I believe stated that they were difficult to fold up and put away. Maybe that was their pair, but mine fold up nicely. Fit my head nicely and very comfortable to wear. One negative is that they are thick, in other words, from the side of your head to the outer portion of the muff itself. In turn, it does cause issues when shooting rifles and getting a good cheek weld against the rifle, but this is an issue with many brands. I knew this before my purchase and therefore is not an issue as I carry different types of hearing protection to the range. Simply wear a different type of hearing protection when shooting long guns, or purchase the pair with thinner muffs. As stated, the thinner pair does not reduce as much noise so it is a trade off with less noise reduction but MAYBE a better cheek weld. I said maybe because I have not tested that theory myself. I love this product and would absolutely buy another pair.

Good muffs
I needed a replacement for my old muffs which simply were not doing a good job of blocking out noise. I wanted to find a new set (of non-electronic) with as high a db noise reduction rating as I could find at a reasonable price. I looked at Amazon to see what they had, and I noticed the Walkers EXT shooting folding muffs. At a price of only $13.99 I was a little leery that they might be "junky", but I thought I'd take a chance for the low price. I ordered two sets. Now that I've received them, I can say that I'm very satisfied. Great noise reduction, they fit well, and they fold to a nice compact size. If they hold up over the long-term, they are an excellent value. Edit to add: I like these muffs so much that I just purchased a third pair, and I may add a forth pair for when I take additional family members to the range.

Great to keep as a spare to my more expensive ...
These work very well. Only downside is the thickness of them but that comes with the territory for the high noise reduction. Fits both me and my 8 year old son so there's lots of adjustment room. Great to keep as a spare to my more expensive electronic ear protection for when I bring folks to the range.

Bien
