Why is this glue not formulated for plastic or vellum? what will happen? i would like to use it to adhere frosted mylar to glass windows.

I have answered several questions about this glue, but never this one. It required that I do an experiment. I applied a piece of mylar to a piece of glass and waited 24 hours. Indeed, it did not adhere because the paste never dried. I believe that this glue will not work because you are trying to adhere two non-porous surfaces together. But please note: The mylar did cling to the glass and in a fairly tight fashion but it also would easily pull up and away from the glass. This would work as a sort of temporary solution but I do not know what might happen if the glass got wet or moisture occurred.

Is this paste archival? Is it the bond permanent when completely dry?

Yes and yes! It’s a great paste for collating and even with fabric.

Will nori paste work to make paper beads?

Nori paste is water soluble / reversible . If the pasted paper beads get wet, they will come a part. As I understand it, even with glue that cures permanently, it is best to seal paper beads against moisture. The challenge with pastes like Nori, acrylic paints and water based sealers can loosen the paste. Nori paste is great for all sorts of paper craft projects; but more permanent glues are likely a better choice for paper beads.

Does this paste come with a spreader?

No it does not, but it is the best paste ever. I use it in my classroom exclusively! You can purchase plastic spreaders in bulk

La uso per collage, colla di gran qualità, la carta non fa grinze. Ho incollato carta di riso su carta da acquerello, forse anche questo aiuta. Comunque è una confezione grande, vale la pena aspettarne l'arrivo e pagarci anche il dazio sopra.

I used this to paste endpapers on a repair. Very easy to apply and dried wrinkle and bubble free. It is not cheap but is worthwhile if you haven't got time to cook wheat starch yourself.

This is a great product and I have ordered it several times without any issues. This time, it arrived loose in the package (no packing material to protect it), the lid was completely off and there was no inner lid that provides an additional protection of the product. So it was partially dried out and a glob of it was smeared inside the envelope.
