And he could manage to damage it more than I had done it in 3 years. Not to tell about the sweaty smell. I was very disappointed. But luckily got this replacement fitting perfectly now. May be a bit tricky to slide this in. But once you do, works like new and original. What else to expect. Have been using now for about 3 months and no complains. Review: Fit perfectly Easy Install - Put these on my husband's JVC headphones without issue (just had to be sure to have the correct side out on the inner plastic piece!) They fit perfectly, they are comfortable and he is thrilled to have his Noise Cancelling Headphones back (we are gearing up for a long airline flight!). Not sure how long they will last, but even if it isn't 6 years like the originals, they were a great price.

Decent replacements for broken-down ear pads.
I'm really glad I found these - my HANC-250 headphones are my daily go-tos for my bus ride, but the finish was flaking off the pads. Pay attention to the description - these do NOT contain the rigid plastic disks that snap off the headphones - they are just the pads and the black net fabric with an elastic section that you have to stretch to go over the plastic disks. If you have super-short fingernails you might want to grab a pair of tweezers or needlenose pliers to help get them on. They are also not quiiiiite as puffy as the original pads - they flatten just a little more. But if it means not buying another pair of headphones? Win.

Works As Advertised
The earpads are a snug fit over the original plastic connectors. It wasn't too difficult to get them on but did take some fiddling to get it done, maybe five minutes for each pad. So far they look very similar to the originals and don't show signs of failure but they have only been in use for a few weeks now.

but looks like we will have to anyway
Not as cushiony as the original. Tried these as a way to avoid spending the money on a brand new set of headphones, but looks like we will have to anyway. Note that they fit well, it's just that they are a tad slimmer / firmer

Too tight!
Super difficult to put on. It would be very easy to damage these pads while trying to put these on because the flap is smaller than the original. The original is large enough to easily fit around a ring of dense insulation that helps the pads fit securely to the plastic part. This replacement is not. I tried heating it as someone suggested and that did not help. The foam ring eventually ripped a bit while trying to get this on. Since it was torn I removed it. Then I was able to put it on. Now a gap appears due to the missing ring of insulation and I imagine I will lose some of the sound deadening benefits of these earphones. As a result I do not recommend this product. I suggest buying a replacement directly from the JVC accessor store. However, buying just one original replacement pad will cost you about $20. Although an original will work perfectly, and be very easy to install without wrecking the sound deadening properties of your headphones. After all, that is the main reason you bought these in the first place. If I had it to do over, that is what I would do. So buyer beware! Any reviews saying this is easy to put on are false.

Perfect Replacement, Tricky Install
These cushions were a perfect replacement for the worn and deteriorated original pads on my much loved and much used JVC headphones. Be prepared for a frustrating experience getting them on all around the plastic caps. I recommend getting one end on, then holding it in place with spring clips while you stretch and inch your way around to the other end. It's worth the effort, though, and a lot cheaper than buying new headphones.

Use a big paperclip
These are great! I've got my noise cancelling headphones back! The fabric over the foam was so worn I was placing bare foam against my ears. Needless to say once they got like that there was no more noise cancelling effect. But these replacement covers made my headset just like new and I could not be happier. A hint for getting them on easily. Use a large paper clip instead of anything sharp. A large paper clip has the perfect rounded edge to slip underneath and slide around so that it gets onto the plastic with ease.
