ADC 1024 Nurse/Physician Nylon Medical Equipment Instrument , Black

I’m in PA school and it holds all my medical equipment.

Just right for the home care nurse! The bag material is thick enough that it holds its nice rectangular shape. Good number of inside pockets, but not TOO many, so it's easy to find things. I have plenty of room for large electronic BP cuff, stethoscope, large infrared thermometer, bandage scissors, pulse oximeter, and iPad. I'm a home infusion nurse, so I appreciate the inner side pockets for extra alcohol prep pads, gauze 2x2s, IV start kits, IV catheters, etc. A great value, and honestly, much more manageable than my previous paramedic bag, which while it held everything, including the kitchen sink, was too bulky, big and impossible to find things in. This is a real upgrade! I now keep a nice plastic bin in my car for all my "extras" and am able to replenish the supplies for this bag very easily.

Certain airlines are cutting down size of your "personal" item" - and this fit exactly into the restriction I had. And, I put more in here than I ever imagined. It has two small zipper pockets on top of the main inside compartment - 1 fit my small camera, 1 fit my iPhone. In the same compartment, I was able to fit sunglasses, a full bose headphone case, and a GoLite case (light for jet lag that is pretty big). There are non-zipper elastic pockets along both sides of the main compartment - some hold pens, some held my wallet / passport, and a packet of Kleenex and typical travel stuff. The inside pockets are really useful. The outside side pocket was great for things I needed access to on the plane more easily. It only has 1 zipper - though the central main pocket has two, which you can secure with a cable tie if you are putting it where you want to add a tiny bit of security. There is an outer pocket on the back that was perfect for paper and travel / itinerary stuff. Great bag overall...though I do have to say it doesn't look remotely expensive or made out of any modern material. In a way, this is good though - since it's lower target for theft. I know it is marketed as a Medical bag...and I am not in the medical field - but if other people come across this for travel, I strongly recommend it. It held up well over 10 days too. No zipper issues, no hints of wear.

((Purchased decision based primarily on mostly positive reviews - a replacement for a standard size backpack.)) I got this bag as a better answer to my organizational annoyance as an EMT on an ambulance FT - was looking for something that was a bit less cumbersome than a basic backpack but offered a good storage option for my personal stethoscope (which can be a challenge to transport & store if you're used to carrying one all the time) & other misc that I carry on these long shifts. Bag is slightly smaller than I had hoped, my only real issue is that the back "folder" pocket does not quite fit my plastic clipboard (the type that has a clipped folder attached - making it wider) as I had hoped (off by 0.5" width-wise unfortunately). However, I've simply resolved to put it in the main pocket instead (it does fit on its side, with all other items, and will still zip close in the event of pouring rain/etc). Multiple small pockets are very nice - currently packed with: 2 standard sized water bottles, back up GPS & charger, back up cell charger, numerous pens, pocket-size field reference & spanish translation spirals (x2), mini-notebook, stethoscope, clipboard, small personal effects bag (aka: small make up bag), bag of mints/gum, hand sanitizer, pocket knife, & will hold my wallet & personal keys while on duty. So far, I'm pleased. Seems to be of a decent grade canvas & padding seems adequate for my needs (though I'm not sure I'd trust it with seriously expensive PA equipment personally). Shoulder strap is removable which is a nice option should it ever require replacement. Great price, hard to beat. Thanks. ----- ((Review edited March 2013)) While this bag worked great for my original purchasing reasons, I have changed out what I use it for: This bag is now my primary range back for trips to and fro to the range for target practice. It's tough, very tough, and can hold over 2000 rounds of .22LR + 100+ rounds of 12g shotgun shells. I opted to use it for the range BECAUSE it's so durable. Currently packed with tons of 22LR rounds, safety glasses x2, ear muff styled protection x2, 2 banana mag clips, pocket knife, flashlight, pair of gloves, and misc other "wants" while at the range. I have not added any of the "range first aid" stuff to it as I now carry a StatPak for all those items. Because the carry handles are sew into the sides so deeply, it can handle all of the weight I'm putting in it at present. I did however remove the shoulder strap to avoid the temptation to carry it this way and put too much strain on the plastic clips that hold that strap on. VERY USEFUL bag, even after being re-purposed, a year later.

This was the supply bag recommended by my nurse practitioner program. I looked around to see if there was anything comparable in price and size, but figured this was probably the best bet. I'm happy that I went with this bag. It holds all of the medical supplies required by my FNP program with enough room to also function as a carry-on/purse. I have several on-campus visits and want to bring as little luggage as possible, so having a bag that is big enough for the supplies, my tablet (Kindle Fire), wallet, phone, bottle of water, etc., is great. There is also some padding to the bag, which provides extra protection for supplies and a tablet. Time will tell how it holds up with traveling, but it seems like a pretty sturdy item. Update: Just came back from a 5 day on-campus visit with train travel to/from D.C. The bag held up very well holding all of my supplies + doing double-duty as a travel bag. It even fit my rolled-up lab coat. It wasn't uncomfortable to carry across my shoulder even though it was pretty weighed down. Only mild complaint was that the plastic clips on either end of the strap that attach to the bag itself are quite squeaky with movement, but this wasn't a huge deal at all.

Die Tasche ist robust, qualitativ gut verarbeitet und vor allem sehr leicht, sogar mit meinem Sachen, die ich zum Hausbesuch bei Patienten brauche. Die Tasche sieht kompakt aus, trotzdem pass viel rein. Daumen hoch!

Love this bag! It's a perfect size and has plenty of compartments. It can fit quite a lot and the bag does not look large and bulky.
