Perfect Upgrade for the Rustler
I had originally started out with the basic Rustler 4x4 brushed model, and after a year or so, wanted to start making upgrades. First was the light kit, which at the time was only offered as a stand alone kit, then the Vileneon brushless motor and esc, and then last week the aluminum center drive shaft. This week was the center brace, and I had no problems installing it, and was very happy it had two mounting pads built in to move the light kit control box, as you have to remove it to install the brace. I read some people who bought it were upset because they thought they could have one or the other, but not both. Definitely not the case here.. must have been user’s inability to figure things out as it doesn’t really say in the instructions. Excellent upgrade for the rustler (or slash with low CG chassis) 4x4. It will fit brushed or brushless since the chassis for either setup is the same.

Easy and important upgrade
Fits great! Reinforces the chassis during impacts/falls. Being a Traxxas part, it fits very well. As I mentioned in the video there are two front mounts. One is for the slash, the other is for the sledge I believe. Follow the instructions and you can’t screw it up. Looks good in that Traxxas blue. Matches the other blue accents in the vehicle.

Nice center brace
So this is for the Slash LCG chassis but with some finesse and a dremel you can make it fit a standard Slash 4x4 VXL. I was able to test fit it but had to remove because unfortunately it doesn't fit with the body cage I already have installed. Although the brace is strong and beautiful, it's not going to add more protection or strength than my rigid body cage. Still like it and will definitely install it if I have to stop using the cage.

Great product
Great it fit my Rustler 4x4 price was awesome shipping was kinda fast too.. The kit came with 2 bracelets one for the slash marked as S and one for the Rustler marked as R and also came with the screws you will need to add and swap out easy to install it only took about 5 minutes or so..

This is wicked. Really stiffens of the lateral flex on the LCG chassis. Includes pieces to use this with LCG slash chassis as well as rustler chassis. After install the slash LCG chassis look like a miniature Sledge chassis now. This was the perfect piece to finish our Super Slash Bash project.
