LEOPARD GECKO APPROVED
It’s a great MIX IN for leopard geckos! It’s starting to get very hot and i have a huge tank for my Leo (about 75 gallons) & in my experience I would have a hard time keeping his humid side humid during the hot temps. I’ve used eco earth on its own as substrate which is just okay on its own at breaking down waste and providing a nice digging surface for my Leo. However it’s definitely prone to dust and holds moisture very poorly. This flukers substrate exceeded my expectations! As a mix in, it has managed the dust levels to almost nonexistent and holds moisture very very well. At first I was nervous since these are wood chips but they’re actually pretty soft wood and would aid wonderfully in getting stuck shed off toes! As I mentioned before, this is a great MIX IN with loose substrate! Do not use this on its own! It’s just straight wood chips!!

1 bag is not 10lbs
These bags are not 10lbs , not even close . 2 lbs at the most , this bag is very small only 4.7 l , very deceptive description , a total lie in fact . Listed as one 10lb bag but you actually have to buy 4 to get 10lbs. Very deceptive listing

Great bedding choice for my mom’s sulcata tortoise!
I bought this cypress bedding for my mom’s new sulcata tortoise, and it’s been awesome so far! It’s soft, natural-looking, and holds humidity really well without getting moldy or soggy. Her tortoise seems super comfortable burrowing and walking around in it, and it makes the whole enclosure feel more like her natural habitat. It also helps keep the smell down and is really easy to spot-clean and refresh. If you’re building a warm, cozy setup for your tortoise, this bedding is a solid choice. She’s living her best (slow and steady) life!

It’s basic
Very very basic bedding. It works but it’s not the most appealing looking. Very dry. Is fine if your look or for value.

Cypress bedding for pet reptiles.
Good bedding for pet boa constrictors, I put this on top of a layer of coconut coir bedding to enhance the humidity in my boas habitat which is import as red tail boas are from humid environments. She can dig down into the substrate when she desires. This product is well worth the money.

Sharp. Negative stars
They CLAIM it's triple milled to be extra fine. I got chunks that had SHARP edges and GIANT splinters that would easily cause harm to amphibians or ANY snake or lizard shortly after a shed. It needs to be both milled and composted to be safe, or perhaps tumbled for a very long time. ZERO ★s. Do NOT recommend. I suppose it would be fine for a tortoise, but I would not trust it to any other type of animal.
