Good Product
Bought a new truck that had a 2 &1/2 hitch compared to my old truck which had a 2 inch. Pulling a 6000lb travel trailer with an expensive anti sway bar. This unit was heavy duty an excellent value, fit perfectly and easy to install. I did add a hitch plate to prevent any hitch rattle.

Simple insertion.
Used to customize my hitch and remove slack. The lip at the end was key, fixed my problem. Simple, straight forward, worth the money.

Hefty and well does what its supposed to.
For the price this is a very nice reducer. I am giving it 4/5 as the only gripe I have is it does not slide in all the way. So, for the hitch pin to line up, there is about 2 inches or so protruding from the front. This has no effect on the alignment or insertion distance of the actual hitch as that still lines up with the hitch pin hole. It is solidly built and just the right amount of heft to give me full confidence in what it was designed to do. Just returned from a round trip of 1600 miles pulling an 18' utility trailer with full load inside. The hitch did not give any issues or concerns and the trailer pulled fine the whole trip.
