Is this product still made in Switzerland?

Yes it is. As a point of note, the tweezers come with a rubber cap that is to be used when they are stored. So far this has kept our tweezers perfectly aligned. Love these tweezers.

Are these worth the high price? I don't find Tweezerman tweezers grip well for my difficult chin hairs. Any product recommendations?

Yes. You will never use another brand once you use these. Very precise.

Now the bullets under IN STOCK say:FREE GROUND SHIPPING - Call for Expedited Rates.. Is shipping free or 8.98?

Shipping is $8.98 as it is being shipped internationally by air mail.

The picture of the tweezers shown are not slanted. Are these slanted or not?

They are slanted and excellent in grip.
