I have had some vision issues working with small numbers and with new glasses, still couldn't read some documents without a hand held magnifying glass. Most of the "free standing" ones lasted a few months and had their limitations. I had used one of these years ago for fine needlework but my sister was using the one we had so I found this, ordered it and am so glad I did. Very flexible in the positions and completely adjustable to fit at my desk, by my chair or even standing! The lights are very bright and several choices with the dimmer. It's very sturdy and easy to move with heavy duty castors. The base is wide but this makes it very stable. Because of all the positioning options, I can move it close to the desk or chair by turning so that the feet slide under the desk or chair and it fits just fine! Highly recommend!

Very good product- professionally wrapped - very impressive- mostly metal - they just need to come up with this with much higher brightness - 2000 would be better lumens then 1200. I would recommend unless you’re cross stitching 40 count and higher then you’ll need 1700 lumens or higher

This magnified light is great quality and works wonderfully.

The packing and wrapping of the was excellent even though it took a while to get it all off. Tt has a nice finish to it almost like a black lacquer. The instructions were next to nothing. I am pretty handy when it comes to putting things together but I was challenged here. Putting the legs on the base was hard, the template holes didn't match up very with the holes in the legs, 5 of them. It took me a while to complete it. Lack of instructions it typical of many things I purchases. There was also no check list of items that shoud be in the box. And a diagram point out item, ie: the On/Off switch whould have been nice. I had to Google to find out where it was. It is in a very hidden spot. I have actually used the lamp yet since I just got it, I gave it a test run. The light works ok, I like that it has a lens cover. It looks nice. Oh one other thing about parts,I have an evrta part, it is a small handle that you turn to adust something but I don't know what. Hence a list of parts would have been handy. Guess I will check Google again.

Floor lamp with magnifying glass and lights(4 levels of brightness), very sturdy and heavy. It takes some skill to put together. This helps me read books, magazines with ordinary size print.
