I've tried quite a few aluminum-free deodorants, and this is one of the better ones I've used. The Santal & Vetiver scent is really nice—clean, woodsy, and not overpowering. It smells more like a subtle fragrance than a typical deodorant. The formula goes on smoothly and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. I also like that it contains ingredients like niacinamide and seaweed extracts, which seem to be gentler on my skin than some other natural deodorants I've tried. As for performance, it holds up well throughout the day, even during warmer weather and light workouts. While I wouldn't personally count on a full 48 hours of protection, it definitely lasts longer than many other aluminum-free options I've used. The price is a bit higher than standard deodorants, but the quality, scent, and effectiveness make it worth considering if you're looking for a premium aluminum-free deodorant.

I should start off by saying that I generally don't wear deodorant. I have a very clean lifestyle, and as a result I don't have much body odor. With that said, when I am training hard and during the summer time, body odor can become something to manage. Most deodorants I come across, even those that are marketed as clean and simple, will irritate my skin and result in rashes. I have tried many, many clean, simple brands, but almost all of them have had poor results. I ended up finding Salt and Stone with the help of AI search, and after comparing two or three of the cleanest brands I could find, I went with this deodorant. I am so happy I found it. This is the first deodorant in years that I've used that didn't irritate my skin at all. It also happens to last a very long time. I cannot believe it. I can put it on at 2 or 3 p.m. on one day and wake up and still smell like it's freshly applied by the same time the next day. I can also use it very sparingly and still the subtle, mature scent stays on. I am honestly so impressed by the product they have made and the scents that they have, and I look forward to reordering this in the future. If you have sensitive skin like I do, make sure you're doing your research and reading all the ingredient lists. This one seems to be one of the best options. I should note that I've also looked at many of the natural deodorant brands out there, the ones that use essential oil and claim that to be good for sensitive skin. The truth is that essential oils can also be very harsh on the skin, and many of these products, although they look good on paper, don't necessarily live up to the expectations in reality as a whole.

I am not able to use antiperspirants due to allergy and have to rely on deodorant like this. I sweat a lot since I have hyperhydrosis so it becomes a problem This product is gentle and does not cause any allergies but does the job pretty well to keep a good smell. I do have to reapply it - its not a 12 hours effect. There isn't a white residue on my shirts (at least that i can notice). Its smooth and applies well

It does it's job and I tried it out for 48 hrs and it did prevent odors. Low activity level those days but it did hold up. However, reading the reviews I had high expectations for the santal vetiver scent and ended up ordering it. That's the only thing I do not like about this deodorant. The smell. It's okayyyyyy but not my favorite or pleasant to my nose in any way. I do like how it feels, the ingredients, that's it's small company owned, it works well for what it's supposed to do and it's easy to apply. I just wish I would've ordered another smell. Because it's expensive enough that I won't be replacing it until it's completely gone. So maybe I'll learn to love the smell but so far, nope not at all lol

This was my first time using this brand and I used it faithfully for about 9 months. I've been using more natural and aluminum-free deodorants for several years now. I have sensitive underarms so I stay away from "clinical strength" or a lot of chemicals. I've tried both ladies' and men's brands (I'm a woman) and they only seem to work for a little while before they completely stop working and I have to switch to something new (or back to an old one). I decided to give this one a try after seeing it pop up on Amazon a lot and also because the one I was using isn't sold in stores and would sometimes take a week or more to get to me. My first impression of this deodorant was that I like the compact, round packaging and how easy it is to use (the bottom twists very smoothly). Secondly, IT SMELLS AMAZING. Black rose and Oud is such a delicious scent - lightly floral, sweet, a little powdery, and a little musky. Every time I applied it, I kept falling more in love with the scent. And it also applied to my underarms very smoothly and without any pulling or roughness. It's worth noting that I started using this deodorant during a heat wave; we had about three weeks of temperatures between 90-100 degrees F with 75-95% humidity. Surprise surprise, this deodorant held up! Mind you, it's deodorant and not antiperspirant, so, yes, I did sweat, but, no, I did not smell. I applied it once a day (or the night before) and had no issues. This deodorant also held up exceptionally when I was exercising and it did not leave me smelling bad at all after workouts. Now, where this deodorant DID NOT HOLD UP is when it came to hormone changes and (emotional) stress. Whenever that time of the month came around, the deodorant significantly weakened and I had to apply it again during the day. For me, that's actually normal and I pretty much have that happen with any deodorant. It's performance during stress was pretty terrible though. I went through a few months of intense mental/emotional stress and this deodorant completely failed me. The second I got anxious or stressed out, my armpits would start to pool and turn into a swampy mess and I would immediately smell terrible. Not once did the deodorant hold up to my stress sweat or funk, which was very disappointing since I liked it very much outside of that one issue. I ended up just throwing it away (since I wasn't sure when the stress would stop) and going back to my previous deodorant that worked wonderfully, now sells on Amazon, and I highly recommend: Kosas! It is pricey like this one, but the main selling point for me is that it contains AHA and BHAs that stop the funk and also brighten (and keep bright) the underarm area. It also neutralizes razor burn.

OMG!!! I’m truly impressed with how this product holds up throughout the day + Its invigorating scent is a constant reminder that it’s doing its job, even during my busiest hours. The texture is silky when applying, and I love that the ingredients are healthier for my skin. The application is effortless and leaves no residue or stickiness, unlike some other products I’ve tried before switching to Salt and Stone. You should definitely give it a try; every fragrance is absolutely delightful, and you’ll surely receive compliments on how great you smell!

I really like the deoderant, as it seems to work well and goes on easily with no staining, etc. The reviews seem to emphasize the wonderful smell, but it is very mild and I find the smell minimal. It is rather expensive for a deodorant, but it works, so I will leave that up to the individual. Not sure if I will purchase again, but only because of the price, but I do like the product.

I was extremely hesitant to get one due to hefty price point, but after going through 3 refills I can wholeheartedly recommend this one. It doesn't give me bicarb rashes (given applied to DRY skin) Smells very subtle but long time and keeps odours away while allowing perspiration. It is pricey but well worth the money. One application in the morning makes the stick last 45-50 days on average.

It smells nice but doesn’t work properly. Compare to other brands stays max for half of the day. Unfortunately not satisfied.

Very effective is eco friendly doesn’t burn if I apply straight after shaved. Very easy apply and the fresh smell is wonderful all day long. Is slightly pricey but you get quality product.
