5 FT x 12" - Carbon Fiber FABRIC-2x2 Twill WEAVE-3K/220g

I bought a small roll of this Carbon Fiber fabric to repair the plastic Battery cover on my electric lawn mower. First time using it thanks to the advice and directions from youtube videos. This is amazing for making super strong composites with Epoxy Resin that can be applied on most anything resulting in a lightweight and super strong material. Perfect for car and bike parts as well as knife handles. I can see using this in many applications for repairs and or upgrades in appearance and durability.

Very nice carbon fiber material. My first time using and made a nice repair to a damaged front air splitter on my Corvette.

I broke a bike in a crash and was prepared to scrap the frame until I read that it is possible to repair carbon fiber. I bought this and one bottle each of epoxy resin and hardener and tried my hand at the repair. Two layers was all it took to make the frame stiffer than the original. This fiber cuts easily with scissors and splinters into carbon dust if cut into thin strips. I am very impressed with the material.

I hope you’ve worked with carbon fiber before. This stuff unravels really easily. And to clarify, I’m talking about the woven fibers. The way the roll comes they are secured, but once you start to make any cuts you’re going to start losing fibers. The product is good though. Exactly as described.

Perfect to repair my carbon surf

Pretty easy to use. I'm a beginner and was able to make this decent helmet with it. It's definitely durable once you've applied the epoxy and let it cure. I'll be buying a lot more 😌

I ordered this to repair my Kevlar canoe…plenty of product on this roll. It was a bit messy to cut due to the way the product is woven, but over all great stuff and the patch on my canoe is completed….need some Kevlar patching material this is the stuff to get!

EDIT: During shipping, some of the weave was loose. By tightening the material, all defects were removed. I’m an idiot, will purchase again. - - - - - - PREVIOUS MORONIC REVIEW: This product looks like seconds. I hope the photos are clear enough - the weave is inconsistent and imperfect. I hope the photos are clear enough - I only inspected half the roll. I’ll keep this product for use for testing, but will look for another vendor to supply a finished quality. - - - - This product is fine. Buy it.
